My brother asks to get tested for adhd or autism but my mum says no in a round about way but then tells me that he didnt show most of the checklist of autism when he was younger so its possible he had adhd but didnt get him tested bc OTHER people (extended family) said no thays just how it is.

Now all 4 kids have to suffer not being able to get checked at alll. Sounds privileged or smth but my parents keep brushing us off saying we don't show anything when it inconveniences them and only says they will to make themselves look better :D horray

In theory, maybe I get the “we’re all just playing with barbies, they’re fictional characters, no interpretation is incorrect because it’s an interpretation” argument. But actually no, not all takes are equally valid. Framing something as an interpretation doesn’t mean it inherently has merit. Some takes are completely incorrect and betray a fundamental misunderstanding of the source material. They just aren’t a reason to harass people or send death threats

I think people should read more into a character lore and real word history (if they are based off something in folklore and mythology) before making whole rants abt why some female characters come off creepy or are just there for gooner-like fanservice, like everyone is free to form their own opinions on it all but some takes are crazy.

This is in Genshin Impact btw, and this was gonna be longer but i cant quite get everything out in words in a correct tangent anyway bye now
