Hello Islanders, as Animal Crossing New Horizons takes up the mainstream game in this stressful pandemic. A lot of new players have been introduced to the Animal Crossing series as a whole! In this guide, we will talk about all the things you can do to make your island life easier, unlocking DIY, and tasks grinding efficient!

Nook Miles for every daily task!
You can get nook miles from just bout anything in animal crossing, however, the important tasks are the Nook Miles+. When you upgrade to the town hall your nook mileage points will have the chance to X2-X5 the points you earn from the Nook Miles+. It is important to stack up on the points to unlock DIY recipes, get new furniture, customize your phone, acquire new looks/colors, bell tickets, and nook miles tickets. Spend your points wisely because they can be a real grind to get them back. What I like to do is purchase the one time items first before purchasing the multi-purchase items like the nook miles ticket. If you are just beginning your Island adventure invest in expanding your pockets, you will thank me later!
Optimizing Your: Nook Miles Ticket
The Nook Miles ticket is your destination to getting more crafting supplies, flowers, villagers, bells, fishing, and fruit. The Nook Miles Ticker (NMT) will take you to a mystery island that you can never return to when you leave.
To get a ton of bells, you are going to need a 1 level island to become a tarantula island. Destroy all the rocks, plants, trees, and insects to be able to spawn tarantulas. The most important thing you will need is pocket space, and for it to be night time. Once the island is clear of all land life, tarantulas will start to spawn and your catching spree will begin. Tarantulas are one of the most expensive bugs you can grind selling an 8k bells a pop.
You will have a greater chance to chain fish some rare fish on a mystery island. So bring lots of bait! Don’t know how to get bait? Dig up a manila clam on your beach, You will see a small dot in the sand squinting out water. Once you dig them out, you will have an idea for a DIY Recipe!
Always get Full Items from rocks!
This trick will make you get full items without fail! The reason you dig two holes behind you is to chain hit the rock without moving back. I use this tactic to get more money from money rocks and most importantly more Iron! If you are on a mystery Islande you can get one extra item by breaking them after you do the chain hitting. Try not to break your rocks on your own island you can only spawn one rock a day!
Want to spice up your Island with a little more color, creating hybrid flowers might be your answer! In order to breed hybrid flowers, you will need to water them and make sure there is space for the new flowers to grow. All you need is two flowers, space, watering can and time. Here are the colors you can get and what colors you will need to combine!
-Red + Red = PurpleOrange + Orange = Purple
-Orange + Orange = Purple
Upgrade your Museum and Look to the Stars!
There is much to do in Animal Crossing New Horizons and donating your critters to the museum is one of them. As April approaches there will be new critters appearing on your island! So be sure to liven your museum with all the sea creatures, fossils, and insects you can find! Once you get the museum, Blathers’ sister, Celeste, will have a chance to appear on your Island. She will give you zodiac recipes along with a magic wand recipe. You will need wishing stars and fragments to make these. This month Aries will be the zodiac furniture you can craft. In order to get the fragments and wishing stars, you will need to go on Animal Crossing at night and Make a wish by moving the right analog stick up to make your character look up and tapping the A button to make a wish when you hear the shooting stars.
