tbh i need to learn how to make custom content for the sims (all games tbh) but especially sims 2. i want to make conversions of all the hairs into clay defaults. and i mean ALL. every bundle i see doesn't have every hair and i wanna do that. it can't be that hard, right? just time consuming....

i will never not be annoyed that sims 2 only saves one screenshot at a time and its a goddamn bmp file. the only real complaint i have about the game, but still UGHH

Sims 2 Legacy and Ikea Stuff Pack

This is not so much for the early adopters, but for the people who will try The Sims 2 Legacy in a few months.

You can't just plop the SP8 folder into your game folder with all the rest. The game still won't see it. No, it needs the correct registry entries to work.

The instructions and necessary files are at GitHub.

Edit 12 Feb 2025: And other missing stuff. Missing song Instructions

Missing Songs download. You will need to use the instructions to put these files in the right place. They all go into TSData/Res/Sound, but for different EPs and SPs. I have indicated where each goes by adding it to the end of the file, for example CollegeRockEP1 and MetalSP6. You will need to rename them and remove that EP1 or SP6, after you put them in the right place. I had to do the renaming due to duplicate names.
