reno sits up, huffing softly as he gazes over at yazoo. “because sleep is one of the most important things. and y’see, i’ve been working my ass off to keep those fuckin’ pests outta radiant garden. so i’ve been losin’ a lot of sleep lately due to that, so i’m tired. pretty understandable?”

the softest of chuckles can be heard from the blonde as he sets his gaze lower, on the floor. a corner of his mouth has lifted slightly, the signs of a smirk now there because of the Turk.

Cloud reaches over and returns the nudge, though it’s an open-palm to Reno’s cheek, gently shoving him backwards.

“ okay. . two chances. how’s that? ”

for a brief moment, the turk’s heart flutters in his chest mostly from the touch and he freezes up. only to realize he’s being pushed away. apparently... he really was that annoying.

memories begin to pour back in, but he’s quick to shake them off and reach up to grasp cloud’s hand before lowering it from his face. the redhead takes a step back and releases the hand he was holding before shaking his head and gazing at him.

“alright, fine, i get it. you don’t wanna see me; that’s fine.” reno gives a soft sigh and turns away, brushing off his jacket and shoving his hands into his pockets. “sorry i bothered you.”
