[ Chara raised a brow when they heard his words, raising a brow at him. A joke? Was this really the time for that? They scoffed, now giving the knife a little twirl before crossing their arms over their chest. ]
“A joke? Can you not already tell I’m sick of your stupid jokes and puns? They’re obnoxious. But I suppose they’re the only way you get through your life, huh? Need something to keep you sane.”
[ They glance down at their nails a bit, as if thinking about filing them. Honestly, that wasn’t what they really cared about right now though. Red eyes glance back towards the skeleton. ]
“If you have to, fine. Be funny, tell a joke, got nothing else to lose, right?”
He watched them closely, watching their knife. He watched for anything he should be wary of, but it didn't seem like they were going to do anything yet, so he quickly brushed it off.
"Y'know what I am? Done. I'm skele-done with all your bullshit, kid."
He shifted uncertainly where he stood, "Funny joke right?" He shrugged softly. The whole thing was unnerving, but he was trying his hardest to keep his composure. "Well, I guess you won't laugh at it, you think everything's a good ol' laugh don't you?"
reblog this if i can tumblr im you, just slamming a muse or plot idea down in front of you
this doesn’t mean that you have to accept or agree with the idea - i’m just a scared little turtle that would like to know if that’s something that you wouldn’t mind so much
Come plot, chat, or discuss with me~ :3 At the very least, the shy folks will figure out that I don’t bite and won’t get the jitters in future. ^^ ))
“Need something? From you?”
He swayed, keeping silent for a moment, though that silence was broken when he took another short step towards them, shrugging softly. He would have run away by that point if he was really afraid, or maybe not. Sans wouldn't be able to forgive himself if he ran from the kid.
"How about a joke, huh? Would that make you lighten up? Maybe even a little?"
Standing there, he didn't really think about what the girl had just said, it didn't really strike him until he realised there was a certain silence between them through all the time he didn't notice.
“Did you just-?”
A large grin crept onto his lips, as a chuckle escaped, not that it was any suprise.
“Great joke right there, if Pap were here, you'd have to listen to my amazing jokes!”
Send “I’m scared” for your Muse crawling into mine’s bed after a nightmare.
Inversely, send “What are you afraid of?” for a role switch.

“Hey, Mango-!”
“Lets hang later, okay?”
Grinning patiently, he started to wonder if that pun was just as bad as it sounded right then.
it might all be g o n e tomorrow.
"Yeah, I'll be sure to watch it then," He waited a short moment before bringing up a subject he knew she hated.
"What about the second one? I heard it was better or somethin'? Is the second one any better?" And now to try his best to stay awake through her ramblings, it'd be fun to listen to anyways. Having nothing else to do, this seemed like a great way to pass the time.
[ Starters may take a while, mainly due to just being out of exams and stuff like that, my brain’s a tad fried - still, if you want to interact with me don’t be afraid to send something into my inbox! I honestly don’t mind people talking to me at all or starting threads! ]

"Hiya, doc, was meaning to ask you something. Y'know that thing you sometimes talk about? What was it called again? Mew- Mew something, huh? Well, I was interested in watching it at some point. Can ya tell me what its about?"
Sans had never had the pleasure to hear the tale of how Mew Mew Kitty 1 was better than Mew Mew Kitty 2, not that he thought he ever would have to. Still, there had to be a few bad puns that could come to mind with her enthusiasm.
"So, uh, I heard that the second Mew Mew thing was better- Anyway, can you tell me about it? I might want to watch it if I know enough-"
Well this was sure to bring up a few amazing puns.
Tired/Lazy Sentence Starters
“Eh. I’ll do it tomorrow.” “I’ll do it later.” “I’ll get to it.” “Can’t you do it?” “You take care of it if it’s so important to you!” “I don’t wanna get up.” “I don’t wanna do that.” “Can’t we do it tomorrow?” “Nope. Not doing anything today.” “I just want to lie around all day.” “I’m going back to bed.” “I’m too tired.” “It can be put off another day.”
