He sat down on the couch and picked up the remote control when she had said those words. In his mind there was nothing to be sorry about, given their history, they both knew that they were good friends and she hadn’t done anything wrong recently. He lay the remote on the center table as his eyes met with hers. “There’s nothing to be sorry about, Nae, we’re cool” he said, smiling as he continued zapping.

Naeun felt like she had tons of things to apologize for especially towards Yongguk but still there was one thing she was selfish enough to never apologize for. His company. They’d hit it off the first time they’d met. Conversation just flowed easily. There wasn’t any real obligation to be anyone other than herself and maybe that’s why in this time specifically his company was more than welcomed. She would tell him all that at another time though. “I just meant that I’m not sorry for kicking your butt in MarioKart,” she teased sticking out her tongue before resting her head on his arm. “Don’t worry though I didn’t tell anyone about your defeat against a shorty~”

Amused by her confidence over winning the game, Yongguk chuckled quietly and restarted the game. He allowed her to win because he knew that he was a beast in games and at other times not so good but Mario Kart was the easiest game for him, it was the same as cruising on the high way at night with no worries in his mind. Naeun gave him a good peace of mind and he had grown used to her company and although he was gone for most part, he enjoyed the time they were spending together.

“I don’t mind losing against a shorty, I consider it a favor, besides the fact that you won in a crazy way, drive over the road, makes me wonder where you got your drivers licence, I’m not getting in a car with you” he laughed, ruffling her hair and playing another round with her.
