Note: I'd had this idea written down for a long time, but I'd never finished the pilot—until today. Plus, this is based on a request someone made to me: “What if Varang had a daughter, and she met the Sully family?” And since that's just how I am, I love making things sad and dramatic. Ahh, sorry. I apologize if there are any dramatic errors, English isn’t my first language. I hope you like it!
AVATAR MASTERLIST | Ko-fi
You were secretly running away from your mother; it was one of those rare moments when you could have some time to yourself. Without your mother’s pressure, without having to pretend to be someone you are not. You moved further away from the rocky, ash-covered lands, toward the most wooded area you could find. You ran as fast as you could, praying that no one was following you. You carefully enter the illuminated forest, calming yourself a little as you glance back several times to make sure no one has followed you, letting out a sigh of relief. You walk a little further into the forest, looking for your secret place. A small place where you could be whoever you wanted, where you could talk to her… where you could talk to Eywa. Someone who was strictly, or cursed, prohibited in your clan. It wasn’t the best place, but it was hidden enough for you to sit down and communicate with Eywa. “Please… help me get out of here, I don’t want to be among them anymore,” you say, almost in tears. Your prayer seemed more like a cry for help. You were tired.
You were Varang’s only daughter. Since you were little, you had seen the hatred and rejection your clan had toward Eywa, how this hatred had caused the clan to distance itself from others. How violence and death had consumed their souls, including your mother’s. Sometimes you wondered if she had any… because she was cruel, not just to her clan. But to you… her only daughter. The reason was that you weren’t like the others in the clan, and that was something she hated about you. Something Varang always made sure to let you know at every turn. You didn’t follow her rules; you didn’t have strange piercings in your skin or exaggerated body jewelry. Your mother hated your hair, how you refused to cut it or change it. You had long hair, in braids. The only things adorning your skin were the ashes and the red and black paint you were forced to wear. You had a few decorations on your body, some ornaments, and a necklace your father had made for you. Your life was so miserable that you couldn’t ask for more… you just thanked Eywa for being alive. Simply that… you knew you didn’t deserve anything else. Not after all the things your clan had done. Or what your clan had forced you to be. You didn’t deserve anything.
You get up from the forest floor, picking up your things. You carefully emerge from your hiding place. You look around in all directions, trying to hide what you were doing. If anyone saw you praying to Eywa, you knew your days were counted. Because your mother wouldn’t hesitate to cut off your head and display it as a trophy in her hut. You walk back toward the village, trying to control that feeling you always seemed to have when you spoke with Eywa. You felt guilt and fear. You were entering the village, walking straight toward your hut, when you hear your mother’s call. A peculiar shout she used to communicate with you. “Y/n” Varang calls you; you turn your gaze, now looking at your mother. She was at the entrance to her hut, waiting for you. It seemed as if she knew what you had been doing. “Come here,” she orders, motioning for you to come closer. You approach, watching as your mother takes your arm and leads you inside the hut. You don’t say a word; you just go in and sit down right away.
You watch as your mother walks around the hut, gathering some herbs and ashes to stoke the fire burning in front of her. She looks you in the eyes as she does so. She knew it; she knew you were betraying her… by getting close to her. So, in one swift motion, she pulls your kuru with great force. You cry out in pain, but at the same time hold back. You didn’t want her to see you as a weak person. She pulls harder on your kuru, stretching your neck so it’s exposed to her. “How many times do I have to tell you to stop looking for her… she won’t come to help you,” Varang says in a mocking tone, while continuing to pull on your kuru. Tears were welling up in your eyes as you tried to find your balance with your hands. “I’m sorry…” you moan in pain; that’s all you can say, because you feel the air escaping from your lungs. You were scared. Varang stands up, dragging you with her to another part of the hut, ignoring your moans of pain and complaints. Just to look for a knife, grabbing it and pressing it against your throat. “Tell me why I shouldn’t slit your throat right now and let you die slowly?… That’s what happens to traitors,” Varang says, pressing the knife harder against your neck.
Your breathing was ragged, and you were crying. “Because you’re not brave enough to do it,” you said, almost in a whimper, baring your fangs at your mother. Trying, somehow, to defend yourself against her. Varang remained silent, looking into your eyes for a few seconds—seconds that felt like hours. Just long enough to throw you to the ground as she let go of your kuru. You hit the floor… but it was worth it. You try to catch your breath as you hear your mother approaching you; she was laughing mockingly. Lifting your chin so you’ll look at her. “I need you for the plundering of the Tlalim clan” (Wing Traders clan), says Varang, tightening his grip on your chin. “If you do anything stupid, I swear I’ll kill you… this is your last warning.” Your mother lets go of you, and you turn away, scared. You try to hold back your tears, but it’s useless. You’re so afraid. Varang ignores you and starts performing some of his rituals, while you get up from the floor to get out of her hut as quickly as you can. You had to find a way to get out of this clan, and fast.
(present day)
The flames of the fire kept growing, while the clan members continued dancing and celebrating their supposed victory. They had new weapons—ones that exploded and did more damage. They had also captured the remaining Na’vi from the Tlalim clan’s raid. Your mother couldn’t contain her strange happiness, while you stood to the side, away from the group... watching from afar as the Na’vi lay tied up and sprawled on the ground. There were two girls and five men. You shifted your gaze from time to time; you knew that one of them was holding your gaze. And this was Kiri; she knew there was something different about you. As if someone were telling her that she had to ask you for help. But she didn’t know how to do it; she was bound all over. You, on the other hand, moved closer to the kidnapped group.
You glance sideways at the Na’vi who were watching over them. They say nothing; after all, you were the daughter of the clan leader. “Why don’t you go enjoy the celebration?” you say to one of the guards. “I’ll watch over them,” you smile slightly, looking at the guard a bit menacingly. Without hesitation, he obeys and leaves with the clan. Leaving you alone with the group of kidnapped Na’vi. “Hey… listen, please help us,” says Kiri, speaking as quietly as she can. “I—” you try to speak, but you’re too scared to answer. “Kiri, be quiet,” says Neteyam, who was sitting next to his father on the ground. “No… I know she’s going to help us. I can feel it. Eywa is telling me,” says Kiri, as the ground around her glows. Everyone is stunned—especially you, who had so many doubts at that moment.
Kiri looks at you again, but this time more intently. As if she could read your soul. “Please…” Kiri whispers, watching you take another breath. She glances back to see that everyone is distracted and grabs your knife. She starts cutting everyone’s ropes; Jake breaks free quickly and begins helping the others. The group is freed quickly, not to mention that Varang was already looking for you. She glances where you were initially, noticing you’re not there. Searching for you quickly, she sees you where the kidnapped Na’vi are and you’re… helping them? “Don’t let them escape!!!” Varang shouts, causing everyone to look and start following the group.
You get a little scared, but you feel one of the girls grab your arm and drag you along with her. “Come with us,” says Kiri, noticing how scared you were. She sensed there was something about you. And she wasn’t going to leave you there alone. Without thinking, you agree, and they run as fast as they can into the depths of the jungle. Trying to escape the group that was chasing them. Throwing themselves into the river, not caring if it would hurt. You didn’t care who these people were; you just knew you felt safer with them than with your own family.
After a while, swimming and trying not to drown in the river’s currents. Everyone made it out of the river unharmed, to the nearest bank, still looking for shelter. You were coughing a little, getting up off the ground. When someone grabs you by the forearm. “Careful, come on,” says a boy about your age. Helping you get closer to the group, so you can hide better deep inside the jungle. Neteyam knew you weren’t someone to be trusted.
After Jake made sure the group was safe, he turned his full attention to Quaritch, who was already his biggest problem at that moment. However, your presence didn’t seem familiar to him, as he watched you hide in a corner. Jake glanced quickly at his children and motioned to Neteyam to come closer to you. “Careful,” Jake said in a low voice. Neteyam began to approach cautiously, but Kiri stepped forward, walking as fast as she could to kneel down in front of you. She watched as you opened your eyes wide. “Hello… my name is Kiri,” the girl said, smiling. She moved much closer to you. Tuk runs toward her older sister. “Tuk!!” Jake shouts, trying to stop his daughter from approaching that Mangkwan girl, but it’s no avail, because the girl manages to avoid Neteyam and get close to her sister.
Jake was a little frustrated, because on one side he had Quaritch, and on the other he had a Na’vi who could kill them at any moment, but for some strange reason she had helped them. “I’m Tuk, and you? What’s your name?” Tuk asks excitedly. You remain silent for a moment, noticing that everyone is staring at you. Even Quaritch was intrigued by the situation. “My name is... Y/N,” you say shyly. “Y/N... that’s a beautiful name!!” Tuk gets excited, stepping closer to now look closely at the pieces hanging in your hair. “Why did you decide to help us?” Neteyam asks, stepping closer to her sisters. Taking their hands, to pull them away from you. “I...” you say, looking away to avoid meeting his gaze. “I don’t know,” you say. As you hear one of the men laugh, Quaritch laughs to himself. Sitting on one of the branches, ignoring the group. After all, there wasn’t much he could do now.
“Eywa… she told me this girl is good, she’ll help us,” says Kiri, smiling again. You return her smile. Jake sighs in frustration, turning to look at you seriously. “You have to go back to your clan… it’s not safe for us to have you here,” says Jake. Watching as your face contorted into one of terror. “NO, please,” you get up from the ground, approaching Jake. “If I go back… my mother is going to kill me,” you beg, you needed to stay with them. It was true that none of you knew each other, but it was safer to be with them right now. “No, listen… when morning comes, you’ll go back to your clan. And I ask you, please, not to reveal our location,” Jake says firmly, as he steps away from you to sit right in front of Quaritch.
You lower your head in resignation; you already knew what to expect. It was as if you were accepting your future, a reality you couldn’t change. You walk back to the corner where you were sitting. “Dad… please, she’s not bad. She helped us,” Kiri says, protesting a little. “It’s true,” Lo’ak says in a low voice. Jake looks at them with a serious, fixed gaze. Jake motions for Neteyam to come closer to him. “Keep an eye on that girl,” Jake orders his eldest son. Neteyam nods and understands his father’s orders; he also distrusts that girl.
Night fell quickly, and Jake kept watching over Quaritch. Lo’ak was with Kiri, Tuk, and Spider. Meanwhile, Neteyam was sitting near you. He was sitting sideways so he could keep a perfect view of his sisters and continue watching over you. “I won’t hurt them,” you say in a low voice. You see the boy’s ears perk up quickly, and he glances at you out of the corner of his eye. “I’m not so sure about that… your people are murderers,” Neteyam says, without taking his eyes off his sisters. “You’re absolutely right,” you say so softly it sounds like a whisper. This makes Neteyam look at you. “We are murderers,” you say, pulling your knees up to your chest and hiding your face between them.
For a moment, Neteyam thought those words had another meaning. He could hear so much pain in your voice. He looks at you one last time, then goes back to watching his sisters. Hoping morning would come quickly, he didn’t want to admit it, but he’s scared to death.
P.s. What did you think of the story? Should I continue it? Let me know what you think, and if you’d like, I can add you to the tag list.
Hello, I hope you are all doing well. I am very grateful that my laptop has been fixed. The only downside is that I lost all my writings and manuscripts, but... I am already working on that and rewriting some of them and organizing everything.
I have read your requests, and I will be responding to some of them soon. I will also be uploading the second part of some writings (one of them is “Scent of Tsu'tey”).
Thank you for your patience and for the love you give to this blog! I love you all so much!
Ok well now I have a problem. I loved your gentle giant fic too much and now I’m eager to see more adventures of sollek and human baby child! It’s so cute I’m kicking my feet! He pretty much adopted her quite fast.
I'm working on another part, maybe two more. Would you like to see other characters interact with So'lek and his human daughter? Or something sad? Let me know, because I have something in mind that I know you'll like.
I love the baby conviently didn’t die when she ran into solek but he puts an oxygen mask on her before going outside.
Perhaps she’s one of those genetically modified babies the rda was testing to try to make humans be able to breath pandoras air?
I would imagine it’s not as successful as Kiri’s method and she has to deal with slight asthma issues if she runs too much while outside? So she doesn’t need a mask on all the time but she does need a few breaths of human air to get her asthma to chill maybe?
Actually, I wrote something about this. It's about Neytiri's adopted daughter. She's a little girl who can breathe Pandora's air, but sometimes she needs a bit of human air, with an oxygen mask. It's all thanks to an experiment her mother did during pregnancy.
In this fanfic by so'lek, the baby has always had her oxygen mask, even though it's very small and unique to her. What happened was that I forgot to write about that detail.
Warning: None. So’lek Being a gentle giant, paternal instinct, child abandonment
Request: Tsu’tey adopted daughter series is my favorite but can I have mix of frontier of Pandora?
Note: I'm still learning all the characters from Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. So please forgive me if I make a mistake. Also, if you would like to see more about this writing, let me know.
AVATAR MASTERLIST
So'lek hadn't planned this, and he was at a complete loss as to what to do. He was in the middle of the forest, with a little girl clinging to his leg. He had found her by total accident. He had been informed of an explosion near one of the RDA facilities. He was supposed to be accompanying Sarentu; it was just going to be a quiet patrol. To check that none of his people had been injured. However, here he was, standing still, looking at the strange creature. He felt that if that little creature kept touching him, he would catch something. Small human creatures were something So'lek had only heard about, and that was because Priya never stopped talking about how adorable they are.
"Ba baba.aaba," says the little one, sitting on the muddy jungle floor, looking at the man. Meanwhile, So'lek continues to look around in confusion. This little creature must have her family somewhere, So'lek thought as he began to hear the creature's cries. "No... be quiet," So'lek said firmly, pushing the little girl away slightly with his foot. This made the girl even more upset and she cried louder. So'lek didn't know what to do. It was starting to rain, and he wasn't going to take that thing with him. It could be dangerous... or not? "Hey... shall we go?" asks Sarentu, approaching So'lek and standing in shock at the scene. Next to him was a baby. She runs towards the girl and picks her up from the ground. "Awww, look what we have here," says Sarentu, taking the girl in her arms. But in a quick movement, So'lek takes her away and puts her back on the ground. "Don't touch her, she could be dangerous," says So'lek as he wipes his hands.
Sarentu laughs, while the little girl starts crying again. "Where did you get her?" asks Sarentu, examining the creature from afar. "She came to me... and touched me," says So'lek, looking as if he were afraid of the tiny thing. "They are the cubs of humans, that's what they look like... they are very vulnerable. We can't leave her here," says Sarentu. "Her parents should come for her... it's better not to touch her," says So'lek, watching as the creature stops crying and comes closer again. Now using his leg to stand up and raise her arms so that So'lek can carry her. "No... go away," says So'lek, moving away a little. But it was in vain... because, unfortunately for him, the dangerous creature was walking. "I already checked the area... and I don't think there are any survivors," Sarentu says sadly. Apparently, the little girl had survived.
"Well... it's not our problem," So'lek was about to leave, but someone was already holding his leg tightly. When he moved, the little girl started to laugh. Sarentu had to laugh too; she was adorable. "Apparently, she likes you a lot... come on, we have to take her to the shelter," said the girl, walking away from So'lek. "Hey!!! Don't leave me here with this thing," said So'lek, seeing that his complaints were being ignored. He pulled away from the girl's grip and walked a little further away. But he stops short when he hears crying. He tried to ignore it, but he didn't have the heart to do that. Turning around to look, the girl was crying on the ground... the rain had already wet her a little. In the distance, he could see the smoke rising from what was once her home. He sighed dramatically, approaching the little girl. So'lek might look tough, but he didn't have the heart to leave that creature there alone. The jungle could be very dangerous...it would be a quick dinner for any animal. In one swift, quick motion, he picked up the girl with one hand, holding her against his forearm. The little girl stopped crying immediately, holding on tight. So'lek didn't know why he was doing this; it was dangerous and foolish. But there he was, flying his ikran, on his way to the shelter.
So'lek arrived at the shelter and handed the girl to Priya, who excitedly checked on her. "From what I can see, she's only one year old... so tiny," said the woman. The people in the shelter couldn't stop looking at her and trying to get the little girl's attention. But she was only looking at So'lek, who was sitting far away... very far away from them. In a corner, he tried to figure out what was going on and why the child was staring at him with such determination. He sighed to himself and left the shelter to continue with his life. As soon as he walked out the security doors, he heard the child begin to cry. But he kept walking.
The days went by, and all so'lek heard was the creature's crying and everyone in the shelter complaining. They didn't know what to do anymore. They had already given her food and played with her. But it was all useless. She had only slept for a few hours, only to wake up and cry. They were slowly going crazy, to the point of leaving the girl alone in a small playpen in the middle of the shelter. Apparently, when she was alone, she calmed down a little. So'lek thought this was stupid and very irresponsible on the part of the group. She was a small baby who was supposed to need attention 24/7, not be left alone to her fate. So, without anyone noticing and very determined about what he was going to do, he waited for the right moment to execute his plan.
One afternoon, when the shelter was empty and some members were asleep, So'lek entered cautiously. Approaching the playground, he saw that the girl was sitting there playing with some blocks that Dr. Alma had left her. "Hello," So'lek said quietly. Seeing how the child looked up at him and gave him a smile, an adorable laugh, melted his heart. This melted the man's heart, but of course... he wasn't going to show it. "Come here... come," So'lek gestured with his hands, watching as the girl got up and walked toward him. Surprisingly silent, she was very determined to reach him. He took her in his arms, bringing her close to his face.
The little girl placed her small hands on So'lek's face and smiled again. For the first time, he could see her clearly. She had messy hair, a small nose, and small eyes. She looked so delicate that she barely weighed anything. He pulled her closer to his chest, watching as the girl calmed down and began to play with his decorations and bulletproof vest. "You like it... I can get something similar for you," So'lek said in a low voice. Calm and kind... a gentle giant. He could smell a peculiar odor coming from the creature. Lifting her into the air, he sniffed her. "Ahhh," So'lek grimaced in disgust. When was the last time you had a bath? He had to do something about it... maybe that was the reason why the girl cried so much.
He decides to leave the shelter, putting the oxygen mask on the girl and holding her in his arms. "I have to make some kind of carrying bag so I can carry you without any problems," So'lek says to himself. He knew the girl didn't understand, but he still told her his future plans. He was walking through the jungle, carrying the little girl to where he used to bathe. When he arrived, he thought for a moment... this shouldn't be difficult or any different from bathing a Na'vi child. To tell the truth, they were very similar. So he carefully removed her clothes and placed the human child in the water. It was a small river, which was the perfect depth. He cleaned the girl, noticing that she didn't complain at all. She was quiet and played with everything she saw. She touched the rocks and some of the vegetation around her, while So'lek continued to clean the little girl's hair.
After the bath, So'lek took some fabric left over from his outfit and placed it around the girl's waist. Trying to create a kind of tewng. "Later I'll make you something better... come here," So'lek took the girl in his arms, settling her in to take her back to the shelter. "We have to feed you... and then I'll look for something to do," he continued talking to himself, feeling the child falling asleep in his arms. He smiled a little to himself. "You also need a name... how about Y/N?" said So'lek, looking at the human child, who was already fast asleep, curled up in his arms. Looking for more warmth. "Y/N, that will be your new name... I'll teach you how to hunt, how to speak Na'vi, we have many things to learn," says So'lek. So'lek didn't know how he had ended up in this situation... but he was sure that this time no one would take his happiness away from him.
The truth is that the story is on pause. I lost the inspiration to write it; I didn't know how I wanted to end it. But you know I'll be thinking about it... After seeing Avatar 3, I feel like a lot of things could be added. Make a twist. Add other characters, etc. But I'll be thinking about it.
Hello!! I know I've abandoned my blog for a long time. But I really want to write. So I'm going to open up requests for a few days.
I can write about any character. It can be from Avatar 1 or 2 and 3. And if you want any character from the game, that's also welcome. It can also be about any subject (nothing out of place) smut, soft, cute, family, sad etc.

AVATAR MASTERLIST
You were already very close to the familiar marui when you began to hear your parents arguing. It wasn't the first time you had heard them arguing, and you knew it wouldn't be the last. Your world had changed in the last year, or so you thought. You had never had a normal childhood like other Na'vi children. You were very aware that you were different from those children; they were not Jake Sully's children. They were not a strange mixture of a clone and a pureblood. But hearing your mother's next words broke you. You moved closer to the marui, hiding a little at the edge of the entrance so your parents wouldn't notice your presence, kneeling down to gossip a little. All you were hearing was more of the same, your mother's hate for humans… for Spider. But when your father asked her if she hated her own children for being half-human. You put one of your hands on your chest, and out of nowhere, the anxiety you've been hiding since Neteyam's death envelops you. "Mom, say no… please say no," you think, waiting for your mother to say something. But there was nothing… only silence. A silence that you translated into a clear yes.
How could it be true that your mother hates you so much? You, who were always by her side, you, who loved her intensely, were telling your father that you hated them. You try to hold back the tears, feeling both anger and pain at the same time. But you couldn't hide it; you were disappointed in your mother. You see Neytiri coming out of the Marui, and you sneak off to one side. Without realizing that Tuk had left some toys in that area. You trip, causing your parents to turn around to see where the sound came from. They see you hiding near the entrance. "Y/N!" your father says, letting go of your mother a little to go to you. Your gaze was lost and you were on the floor looking at your parents with great fear. Tears were running down your cheeks, and you couldn't take your eyes off Neytiri… you couldn't take your eyes off your mother.
"Hey, what's going on? Come here!" Jake approaches, trying to calm you down. Neytiri, on the other hand, stays where she is without saying a word, just staring at you intently. As if she knew you had heard everything she said. She can see the terror and anger on your face. It was the same as hers. Jake comes closer and takes you by the arm, lifting you off the ground. "Are you okay? Why were you listening?" Jake asks, not realizing that you are still looking at your mother. Jake snaps his fingers to get your attention. Your gaze turns to your father, who looks more concerned than angry. "I was about to go in when I heard you arguing, I…" You are quiet for a moment. You can hardly think straight; you just want to cry. Neytiri approaches you when she sees that you are speechless. You weren't usually like this; you had always been the strongest of her children.
"Y/N, what's wrong? Why are you crying?" Neytiri asks. She was more than sure that you had heard the whole argument, but she wanted to make sure she wasn't wrong. You immediately move away from her and approach your father. Hugging him tightly, hiding your face, you didn't want your mother to see you cry. "Baby, you have to tell me why you're crying like this. What's wrong?" Jake asks, stroking your hair. "She hates me… she hates us," you say. Neytiri felt like she was about to vomit, her breath caught in her throat, and she brought one of her hands to her chest. She looked at Jake with concern and fear. It was true, you had heard what she said to him when she was upset. "Honey l, I didn't mean that…" Neytiri tries to get closer to you, trying to touch your arm. But she is surprised when you push her away, hugging your father tighter. "You're ashamed of us!" You turn suddenly, confronting your mother. "Listen to me!" Neytiri protests a little, moving closer to you. Only to notice that the closer she gets to you, the further away you move from her.
"You hate us… we shame you, this family shames you!!!" You shout, moving further away from your parents, unable to hold back your tears anymore, so sad and upset. "Calm down… come here, we can talk about this. Your mother didn't mean those words," says Jake, trying to calm the situation down. There is a very short silence until you start complaining again. "Mom…" you look at Neytiri again. She has a few tears running down her cheeks, still trying to get closer to you. "Why have you hated everyone since Neteyam died? Am I not Na'vi enough for you… none of your other children are? He was the most perfect, right?" You speak coldly, but it was something that hurt even you. You also miss your brother, your home, your old life. "Y/N, don't say that… I love you, sweetheart, with all my life. I'm just frustrated with this whole situation," says Neytiri, taking you by the arms so you won't walk away. "I am too, Mom, and I'm not saying I hate those people… because I do love many humans, Mom… they are also part of me," you shout. "No, you're not, you're not like them," says Neytiri. You raise your hand, showing her the five fingers on your hands, features you couldn't change, characteristics that made you who you are. "Look at me, Mom… I'm part of them too, and I haven't destroyed anything… nothing you love," you yell, silencing Neytiri. Crying a little more, as if she wished you hadn't heard anything. "Love… I love you," says Neytiri, caressing your face and taking your hands to kiss them. "You are my star, you are my eldest daughter… I would never hate you," says Neytiri, now in a calm voice.
"And yet… you hate us," you say quietly. While this was happening, Jake remained silent beside Neytiri. He didn't know how to react or what to say. Perhaps you didn't have the same soft spot for your mother as he did for his wife. Perhaps her words were painful for you. You walk away from your mother, turning your back on her. "Y/N, please understand, please… I said what I said in anger. You know how much I care about you, sweetheart," Neytiri says, hoping you will turn around and hug her as you always did. "Dad," you say, without turning to look at them. "Yes?" Jake says. "Dad, I'm going back to the Hallelujah Mountains camp with Grandma Mo'at," you say, listening to your mother's breathing. "Y/N, you know we have to stick together… Negative. You're not going," Jake says firmly. "You have to reconcile with your mother. This isn't right," Jake says. You turn slowly to look at your parents coldly. Neytiri can see for the first time in weeks how tired you look. How physically exhausted you are, just like her. "They're looking for you, not me," you say. Jake comes up to you, taking your arm. "Listen to me, the road is dangerous. Remember what happened to the clan of (wind search for it). You could die." Jake is worried about you. "Wouldn't that be best? Right, mother?" You look at Neytiri as your words hit her hard. "Please…" Neytiri whispers. She lowers her head, unable to contain the pain any longer. You turn your back on your parents and walk away from them.
Neytiri begins to sob and falls to the ground. Crying in pain, as you had heard all this, it was a mistake. If there was one thing she loved most, it was her children; they were her whole life. She couldn't hate anything about you. But seeing you walk away was breaking her heart. "Love… I'm sorry, let's clear up this misunderstanding," says Jake, trying to comfort Neytiri. "Ma Jake, my daughter wants me gone… you saw her eyes…" says Neytiri, crying inconsolably. "Love, if she's angry at anyone, it should be me. I was the one who asked that ridiculous question, not you… calm down." Jake hugs Neytiri again.
On the other side of the village…
You were adjusting your ikran's seat, angry as tears ran down your cheeks. You were determined to leave this place. If your mother hated you so much, it was only fair that she stop worrying about you. "Hey… where are you going?" You hear Lo'ak, who had seen you from a distance. "I'm leaving," you say, as you continue to pack your things. Lo'ak was stunned. You were leaving? Something had happened, and it must have been serious. He also noticed that you were still crying with rage. Lo'ak approached you and touched your shoulder. "Sis, are you okay? You know you can talk to me," Lo'ak said. You pause for a moment, taking a deep breath. You didn't want to say anything to your brother; he didn't deserve to feel like you did right now. Lo'ak already had enough on his plate. You turn around, approaching him, and hug him tightly. "I'll explain later… right now I just need your help. Don't say anything to anyone… please," you say, watching as Lo'ak thinks about it for a moment. "All right… if this is the path you want to take… I support you," says Lo'ak, coming closer to give you one last hug. "Goodbye," you say softly… watching as your brother tries to control his emotions. You climb onto your ikran, and without further hesitation, you leave that place. You take one last look back as Lo'ak waves goodbye to you. That night… many people lost something they loved.
Yesterday I saw the movie Avatar: Fire and Ashes, and I'm going to give it a solid 100/10. I loved it, I must admit that I barely cried. Because I had so many emotions at the same time, I think I was impressed and excited the whole time. I want to talk a little bit about my favorite moments, character development, and how some of my predictions actually came true.
About the predictions...
About the two wars, I was right. Although, basically throughout the whole movie, our characters were under attack.
About something bad happening to Spider, and that being the reason why Kiri would reach out to Eywa for help.
Varang did have a fight with Quaritch, but they ended up in a romantic relationship (I loved them).
Neytiri did dress up as the Ash Clan so she could spy.
Neytiri was the Avatar who was injured on her ikran. And she did return to the Hallelujah Mountains.
Jake did turn himself in to the RDA.
Not many humans joined the final battle. But there was one at the RDA base, the marine biologist.
I was surprised by how many characters have died. I feel like some of them were completely unnecessary. Like Ronal—she shouldn't have died, especially not like that. Same with Rotxo, but I understand why she died. Still, I would have liked to see a little bit of her friends' reaction.
Favorite moments...
Neteyam and lo'ak at the opening: I did not anticipate this; it was beautiful how they demonstrated how souls rest after death, and how their loved ones can still visit them. I know that in the second part they let us see a little, but in this part, it shows us that there is much more. Each person can have an experience with their loved one. When Neteyam tells his brother that it's not his fault that he died. Ahhhh, my heart!!!
2. Coexistence: I loved all the moments that showed the daily life of the clans, how they live together, how they do things. Including the tulkun. The clothes, the food, the inside of their homes. I know that maybe only a few people cared about it, but I loved it. I also loved seeing how the clan bonded with Spider and how they accepted him in a good way. When the Sully's were sleeping and the Spider Mask incident happened, omg, I loved how they all had their hammocks and spaces. How Jake and Neytiri shared one. Also how the Tulkun have their own clan, rules, culture, it was beautiful.
3. The battles: They were very good. I feel that the Ash Clan adds a touch of madness to this film. Hello... when the Na'vi bursts into flames because Varang orders him to. My mind was blown... this is crazy! There was more action and violence, and we got to see more of the characters' abilities. I feel like Neytiri was the best of them all; she was the star of these parts. As she always has been.
4.Reconciliations and conflicts: When Lo'ak gives his mother her bow, that was beautiful. Because it was right after the fight she had with Jake. A fight that shocked me, because Neytiri could be very cruel, but that's how she felt and I don't blame her. She is mourning one of her children, but she doesn't realize that hate is consuming her. Although I must admit that for a moment I was annoyed with Jake, he is the reason all this is happening. But when Neytiri says she hates humans, aliens, those things with “pink hands.” That was very powerful, because her children have human blood, her husband, who she loves so much, is an alien. But seeing that she can reconsider… that was the best thing about her character. When Lo’ak gives her the bow, that’s when she began to heal. The moment Jake had to choose whether to kill Spider, when Neytiri washed her face, removing the red paint from her face... filling her hands with paint, seeing how her hands were pink... how her hands would also look if she let an innocent person be killed, just for being who he is. That broke her and she accepted... she accepted that Spider wasn't the problem. Not all humans are the same. Jake arguing with Lo'ak was hard to watch. I understand that he mourns differently than others. But blaming your own son for his brother's death... that was a no for me. And that angst caused Lo'ak to want to take his own life. I almost died when Lo'ak put the gun to his head. It was a powerful and realistic scene. It showed that the Na'vi are not so different from us when it comes to feelings. Quaritch could feel a little empathy for Spider, but he still handed him over to the RDA. I cried a lot when I saw how they mistreated Spider with all those tests. And yet he still tried to manipulate him with the topic of his mother. Oh, when Spider calls Jake “Dad,” I started crying uncontrollably... because yes, Jake is his father. Even Quaritch confirms it, saying he did a good job. Ahhhh Spider, I love you, baby!
5. Character development: I think they were all great. I loved the part explaining where Kiri comes from and her connection to Eywa. That blew my mind. But the one who impacted me the most was Quaritch. The emotional and spiritual conflict he went through in the whole movie was great. The simple fact that Jake tried to reason with him, even talking to him in Na'vi. reminding him that he is no longer that person, that he is a being with his own consciousness, and could choose his own path. It was just at that moment when he let Varang dress him in Na'vi clothing. He was discovering himself and feeling for the first time the Na'vi inside him... not thousands of Quaritch. And the most fascinating thing is that I wrote about this transformation in my mini-series “Experiment 56” and “Experiment 56: Sequel.[your time is coming]” I talked about how he was going to discover himself and how he was going to realize that he was another person, living someone else's past. And how he accepts it. I recommend you read them; they're very good. And let me know what you think. What was missing from the film, and I think what made the most sense, was that Quaritch had a big ego. And he decided to kill himself before rationalizing and letting his own self live. Because I bet Jake would have helped him, would have done the impossible to make him another person.
6. Others: The relationship between Varang and Quaritch was great... I loved them. But as I said, they were going to use each other, and that's what happened. Varang was a very good addition to the film; she was pure evil and cruelty. The arguments between Ronal and Neytiri were very entertaining, but at the same time it was nice to see that in the end, the only person Ronal trusted to take care of his newborn was Neytiri. (Ronal's death hurt me, she's one of my favorites.) Kiri and Spider's kiss was more than expected. It was great that the tulkun finally showed up and defended themselves. How Tsireya stayed by Lo'ak's side and they brought Payakan to justice. Spider's relationship with Jake, when he grabs his tail and they run away. Lyle is alive!!! I swear I almost jumped out of my chair when I saw him. The death I enjoyed the most... Colonel Ardmore's... ahhh, I hate that woman. And we got to see EYWA!!!! (She's a giant Na'vi!!) BTW, the moment when Spider and Tuk help Kiri get to where Eywa was one of my favorite moments. These three have a very beautiful relationship.
Top moment: The ending... when I saw Tsu'tey, my heart wanted to jump out of my chest, seeing how everyone was there... Grace... GRACE IS WITH THE CLAN. AND SHE IS PART OF EYWA. It was beautiful to see, and how everyone accepted Spider. I loved it!!!
I'm also very impressed with how they showed how Spider can breathe. I feel proud of myself. In a lot of my writing, I talk about similar things, and seeing how they were the same as in the movie. I'm so excited to see how Spider's characteristics were almost the same as my characters. Ahhh, I'm on cloud nine.
I know so much happened in the movie that I could go on and on about it, but I don't have enough words. All I can say is that this motivates me even more to keep writing. I have so many ideas and stories...you'll see them here very soon. I've also been reading the messages you've sent me, and I'm already getting everything ready.
And remember...the hatred towards the Avatar saga is very forced. This movie is a masterpiece.
