I uploaded these pictures on pinterest too and seeing my pins getting saved on maaaany different boards with different dreams is crazy. (and cute)

I lowkey felt so weird because the picture I’m holding books was a simple candid photo my friend took in the elevator.

It got saved to visionboards of people who wanted to study abroad or study in ivy schools etc.

Lacan suggests that desire is what one lacks, and when acquired, the idea of the “Ideal self” becomes objectified thus no more a desire.

Even in her daeth, when she takes the poiosn and does not see the symptoms of it, she thinks of daeth as if it is something like sleeping. She rejoices that her escapism will result in a glorious, idealized way( Paris 211). The only way to end the dilemma of desiring the ideal and the unfulfillment after acquiring it could only end up this tragically.
