anddd here we go. this somehow continues the previous comic and wraps it up. and just usual here's your disco elysium narrator voice part:

With a sharp knife to cut it all away or with a bullet to just blow it out in a single shot. That's what you've been thinking of, right, kid? I'm not going to stop you, it's your choice after all. So take it and aim at the source of all your suffering. Steady hands, cold mind, you've done it hundreds of times before, it won't be much different now. Take a deep breath and pull the trigger, boy... he's right behind you".

Okay... the scene itself was heavily inspired by a particular moment in Disco Elysium where you can decide to throw away Dora's postcard from the ledger without Harry reading it. The point of it was letting go and... healing. But here the whole point is exactly the opposite. It's an escape from feelings, emotion and such. It started in a previous comic, this whole theme of denial and here we go with it again. It's a wrong thing to do, dude deserves to have a biggest crash out in history after all this, but... he still chooses to run away from facing this gruesome shit. Like "naaah, my papa is still here and we will see our plan through. It's gon be okay". Man.... that's not how you do it!!! Stop!!!
