I keep seeing these videos titled "artist rates modern art" and 98% of the time it's just people laughing at it and making stupid faces, and let me tell you this as an artist:

true artist don't put down others work, no matter the quality or effort, and you may not always understand a piece of art and that's okay. What is not okay is putting down another artist's work and making fun of it.

I instantly lose respect for artists who make fun of the creations of other artists, as artists we should uplift and support each other, and not choose of who is a "real" artist and who is not.

Art comes in many forms and you can't always understand every meaning or intention behind every piece, and that's literally fine. You're not gonna die because you don't understand something and seems stupid to you, you're literally fine, because some people act like modern art is a personal insult.

i feel more comfortable at night. i tend to have more energy to do things like drawing and writing when its later.

yes i would say so! ive met a lot of really cool and talented and kind people through being a fan of this band and im happy i got into them :]

no i have not but i have been putting off watching a concert of them in my city during their 25th anniversary tour for their self titled album because i know its gonna piss me OFF (AND it was one of the nights where they were playing s/t in full minus diluted of course dude I Am So Upset I Shoulda Been There)
