I hate saying I'm anti-censorship because so many pedophiles and proshippers say they are. I want real world struggles to be shown in media and not censored. I want kids to learn about difficult things in history and not that everything about the US is great (something that I received, I got a very hard slap of reality in high school over things that I previously thought were to be true but it was made up by white men). I don't want anti-censorship to be associated with "I glorify rape and abuse and pedophilia" :(
I <3 banned books that had no reason to be banned (I will still forever be surprised over The Giving Tree being banned)
This blog is like a breath of fresh air seeing an online space not somehow be consumed by proshippers and the like
So so so so true Anon. I hate that anti-censorship is one of those phrases I have to raise an eyebrow at now because I am against censorship of the things you brought up. It’s just that these people have such an inflated view of the importance of their pedo/rape content that they think it’s on the same level as, say, historical revisionism or state censorship of news media. And they never actually care about those things either funnily enough, they just treat the word like a big “you can’t say anything negative about this to me” sticker.
Nymph metamorphosis (in my mind) is kind of like this which is kind of like an over-exaggerated version of the homestuck kid vs guardian artstyle, cute baby -> stylized kid -> more 'proportional' adult, but for nymphs its like orb baby -> stylized kid -> wacky U know what im saying!?

ok so
everyone knows about this meme, right?
but does anyone else know the woman who made the food? no? time to educate!
This is “Mother Mary”, the owner of Blackberry’s mother.
She made all the cakes for the restaurant while it was open. Chef Gordon Ramsay tried her red velvet cake, and spoke this meme-able line:
He then called Mary over, complimented her food, and gave her a peck on the cheek.
Look how happy she was to hear that!!!
anyways, I hope she has been able to continue her love for baking since the restaurant closed down.
For these who don’t know: The restaurant she worked at closed down but she left before that and opened her own bakery, that’s apparently very successful!
Y'all…this was a very nice post at first but the woman from the meme and the woman with the YouTube channel are NOT the same woman lmfao. They were both on Gordon Ramsey and both had great food but different restaurant episodes entirely…
god forbid Black women have fun
Black woman invents or popularises a phrase -> it enters the vernacular and circulates widely amongst Black and nonblack people -> people removed from the phrase's initial context read it too literally, do not interpret it with sensitivity, assume that the ideas expressed when people use it are shallow / "over"-sexualised / problematic in some way or another that mirrors their feelings about Black people as a whole -> there is a backlash where a supposedly more 'thoughtful,' 'subversive,' etc. alternative to the initial phrase is offered, implying that the initial phrase contained none of that complexity within it -> rinse & repeat
