Mutual Aid Request

Hey I'm DJ. And I signed up for a local emergency assistance program that required me to be late on rent. I've spoken with one of the coordinators today and the fund was expended recently. It's fine news in the sense that I will be able to stay on their waiting list for other emergencies. But it is an emergency of my own because I've raised 250 dollars this month and all that money is gone to other urgent expenses.

I'm a mutual aid advocate on tumblr, I'm a black trans write here on hiatus and I'm fundamentally a human being asking my community for help keeping this visibility platform up and my body housed.

My goal is my entire public housing rent sum. Its 432, not a lot of money. But I have 2 weeks. I'm sorry to be a broken record. I am trying every way I can to survive the job hunt. This is one of them.

If you don’t mind me sending this to, but the biggest reason because I stop looking at the isff discourse was because it seemed like the few critical isff blogs (not all of them) that are also pro transandrophobia content either had similar noncon fetishs like her, or they agreed with everything she believes, but they hate the fact she doesn’t believe the concept of transandrophobia. And this doesn’t mean trying to say that she isn’t transphobic toward trans men, but it makes me think some critical blogs often come off as hypocritical for basically being into the same shit she is, but trying to act like they’re better than her.

YEAH. That’s like the exact kind of guy I was talking about in my initial post. I do think some of the things she said about trans men were very strange and should be criticized, but it seems like there’s a trend of the people who MAINLY talk about that and being the exact same kind of person as her in every other regard. Like no, I regret to inform you that your posts about the harm she poses are in fact cheapened by you having a rape sideblog. If you really wanna be a part of this conversation you should probably be taking us seriously when we say that stuff is part of the problem, and not trying to act like you are somehow better just because you’re “inclusive”. There’s more to it than that

I feel like you’re one of the more chill anti-Isff blogs I’ve been following lately because it doesn’t seem like you’re attached to any of the other blogs in the critical tags.

I also wanted to talk about recently that I saw a blog called husband-daughter that was talking about trans women being banned off the platform for being problematic, and I realized that she had professional 12-year-old as her blog title. It scared the living daylights out of me because I didn’t read the full post and I only liked it because of a mutual of mine (who I have now blocked). 

I truly am just doing my own thing, I’m not connected with anyone else in this sphere so I tend to not take sides when interpersonal drama crops up (unless there is like a very obvious person in the wrong) and this is just a Sometimes thing for me. Which I think is the best way to approach discourse tbh.

I’ve seen that post floating around too, or at least a similar one, and that info is. Not surprising lol! The posts about being banned for “weird kinks” or “being a trans woman you don’t like” kinda wash over me at this point, like ok girl, i know what you’re talking about and you know what you’re talking about. I’m just gonna block you and tell my friends to do the same bc I actually use my judgment.
