i admire u a lot and I think you're cool. I like your drawings and even though we haven't interacted much i've always wanted to get closer and be friends, but i'm too shy for that

oh gosh please don’t worry about interacting with me, i promise i’m not a scary individual and i do welcome friendships. most of the time on here i talk about sapnap or my kpop group on a random whim. i am also someone who is very shy so i understand wanting to get close to people, but not having the courag— im always doing social relationships slower than average lol. im a bit more reserved on tumblr than i am on twitter but please please interact with me if you want to try to be closer! it’s the best way for me to get to know people here :D

anyways that recent ask sums up my thoughts on that person, and i used all my brain power to write so i’m going back to my yaoi cave to read fanfictions and wait for figure skating worlds to happen

I have hated fayewoods for shit like this for like a year I am actually just glad ppl are starting to notice bc it's not just her either, blatant racism and misogyny lurking around

i have a lot of thoughts about her and her presence as a white woman in fandom, but the short answer is that her behavior both online and offline were abhorrent and she deserves to be called out by every side of the fandom because what she did crossed a line that delves into real world dangers that i believe she as a white woman will probably never fully understand, or care about on the same level as fans of color (as she’s already shown)

for the long answer for any one who cares…

if i’m being completely honest, i blocked her a while before people started to have public problems because at the time i personally:

1.) didn’t want to see dnf art (sorry dnfers) which she were mainly doing when i came across her

2.) just got a bad vibe from her

not to rag on white people (but also i really don’t care if i hurt white peoples feelings) but as someone who is a minority, sometimes you just get bad vibes from a white person no matter how friendly they may come off and just steer clear from them, so that’s partially why i did that

i also knew she interacted with the leak equivalent of tumblr because at some point right before i blocked her where she liked some of my art, i went through her account to do a vibe check just in case, and happened to see her reblogging some posts that seemed like it be from leak side of the fandom. but since no one seemed to speak up about it on the tumblr side i just assumed people who cared already had her blocked or didn’t interact with her

then when the situation with leak and gia happened and it was spreading around, i heard second hand from my mutuals how loud she was about her dislike and “criticisms” of gia. and while i think gia does deserve some whackings and i honestly don’t like her either, the things i heard about fayewoodss and how she continued to react about dteams proximity to gia made it apparent (to me personally at least) that she had become parasocial to a point of no return because it was a constant hatred of gia. she started a whole smear campaign about gia being a nazi because of pilot outfit that even i unfortunately believed, because she was so adamant about it across the fandom. it reached me even when she was blocked here and twitter.😭

(and to be clear you can dislike someone as much as you want. i dislike gia, i dislike other people dteam keep in their circle, i dislike people for some of the smallest reasons. where i think it gets bad is when that hate consumes you to the point where you cant get this person out your head and you decide to disruptively act on that instead of just taking the measurements to keep away from it. i’ve said this about people who hate tommy as well.)

and i’m glad you mention racism because the amount of times on twitter other mutuals of color of mine who would bring attention or call out her or her friends for using or supporting borderline racist rhetoric is so disappointing. some of the things that she would support are ironic now, given she would stand up for her friends from argentina and their latam humor but proceed to literally report a tip to ice because a hispanic woman she doesn’t like is (probably? at least imo but i truly do not care) dating gnf.

her actions were insane and gross and it’s the level of ignorant privilege i expect from a white woman posing as an ally by using her proximity to poc in the fandom and weaponizing her own identity as a queer neurodivergent woman to avoid responsibility for the thing she’s said and done. i know from oomfs who followed her that they feel betrayed because of her efforts to keep the creative side of the fandom alive, i think that dedication is admirable as a (somewhat) artist in the community myself, but what she did is something that in my eyes and many others is what she is going to be remembered by the fandom
