Doomed (1910s finnish) yuri save me

Context: Edla and Ingrid fall in love in 1914. A year long relationship ensues which obviously is kept secret from the outside world. In 1915 however, Ingrid is forced to marry and Edla and her seperate. Years pass apart from eachother. Edla as a working class woman suffers the harsh conditions, poor pay and hunger. She gets involved in worker organizing and strikes. While Ingrid lives lavishly but miserably with her husband, Erik who gets her institutionalized for "hysteria" for a while.

In 1917 Ingrid returns to Tampere alone with permission from Erik to continue working as nurse. In the fall it becomes more clear that the tensions within society are intensifying. The reds take over Tampere in 1918. A full on war breaks out between the red and whiteguards. Ingrid signs up as a nurse volunteer for the finnish red cross. (An organisation with sympathies for the whiteguards) One day she sees someone familiar, in the uniform of the reds. Edla has joined the women's guard of the reds.

Sorry but no. :/ There is a reason I don't have the art available to the public. I don't want to be associated with grahamscott or the life is strange fandom in any way. Or any fandom tbh. The reason I haven't deleted much of other fanworks is because other fandoms didn't keep asking for more which happened with grahamscott so much it started to annoy me. It happened for years after I had moved on to my original characters that I grew tired of it and deleted a lot of art.

I know others don't see it this way, don't have the negative feelings I have attatched to my old art but I wish people would just accept that I want to keep some things to myself. I would rather keep my teenage hyperfixations and all the art I made and cringe at somewhere private. Honestly, if I could I would make all of my old art dissappear from the internet. Buut I have accepted that people will use it no matter what so I'm fine with reposts and edits. So just use the stuff you can find reposted or reblogged.

Hopefully this didn't come off as too harsh! No ill feelings towards you anon specifically, I just cringe at my old art and being reminded of it makes me uncomfortable lol. I know people just don't know this and I should probably pin a "please no lis or grahamscott questions" post again.

"Ingrid. It suits you. A pretty name for a pretty girl."

In the year 1914 Ingrid was still technically a nurse student when an interesting patient was taken to the hospital by police. She heard of this "incident" and the various rumors that had spread about the patient: That when the police brought her she was dressed in men's clothing, that she was some career criminal hiding her identity, or worse.... One of those people who dressed in clothes not appropriate for their gender and didn't pursue romance like nature intended, instead in this woman's case, pursuing other women. Well, so one of the nurses had declared who had just recently read a published article in a doctor magazine discussing the topic.

To Ingrid this topic was familiar. A little too familiar. Of course out loud she condemned such "depravity" but her interest in this patient only grew. So, telling herself that it was only natural to be curious and that there was nothing more to it than gaining proffessional experience Ingrid asked if she could take care of her.

Ingrid met Edla face to face the next day. She was surprisingly...normal. Having recovered from the alcohol poisoning and fever, Edla was talkative. Witty. Easier to talk to than most people in Ingrid's own social circles.

Seeing something in Edla which mirrored her was at the same time comforting and terrifying. Maybe Edla also felt that way. Or Ingrid was reading into it too much.

Nevertheless Ingrid gave a good statement about Edla to the doctor who was assigned the task of a "mind evaluation" that the police had asked for... Something that Ingrid in her teen years had gone through also, just not because of a police investigation.

After Edla left the hospital Ingrid was certain that would be the end of it. But it wasn't long before a small boquet of lilacs and a card had been delivered to the break room. The card had a message suggesting to meet on saturday in Rauhaniemi. Signed "Eetu" (A man's name) but the handwriting was clearly Edla's.

Pretty clever. At least now the other nurses who had definitely read the card looked at Ingrid with excitement and playful smiles, not suspicion.

Been feeling pretty down in the dumps about my art for a while and had 0 energy to finish anything but here's some work in progresses and sketches

1. Shay and their new haircut (a baby mullet) The dnd party saved her and Renée a few sessions ago from a prison which means ✨character development✨ but not necessarily the good kind....

2. Irina taking care of Renée after the rescue. The condition of her hands has gotten worse and she's in a lot of pain mentally and physically. Renée and Irina haven't really made up in canon yet. I might post the thing I'm writing about what's happening to them in the campaign right now.

3. Wood elf cultural clothing design ideas

4,5,6, Because I need a break from depressing canon events I have this stupid AU idea where Irina is a detective investigating murders but it turns out that the one behind them is the medical examiner she's sometimes worked with aka Renée who is living a double life as a hitman and a coroner's physician lol (yes I am aware how delulu it is to be creating a million AUs for my OCs)

i dont think fandom people who only think about male characters and only create content for male characters are like horrible misogynists but i do think they often have some shit they need to unpack. like how can you , for example, play life is strange and the only thing you come away with from that is you want nathan and warren to fuck nasty. how can you watch birds of prey, and the only thing you come away with from that is you want roman and victor to fuck nasty......... like idk! idk! i just find it strange especially when people will engage with media Specifically about women and then put no effort in to empathize or care about them, sometimes even going far enough to say they HATE the female characters and that theyre bitches... IDK!!!!
