My morning beauty has since passed but this was a year ago when mealy bugs didn’t infest half of my plants and nearly kill them all 🙄

This little graptoveria Debbie used to be the top of a much larger plant, but my window blinds broke and landed on it. The top- this part- broke off, and another new plant that now resides in a smaller pot grew out of the broken spot. Case in point why I love succulents so much; they just keep living and growing no matter what gets thrown at them.

Bought myself a cute $4 Aloe striata baby as a cheapish birthday present! (Here’s the link if anyone is interested in buying one!)

A. striata, also known as the Coral Aloe is the aloe that I think is the most adorable because it’s round and soft and has pink margins and pinstripes in strong sunlight. Currently I’m adjusting it slowly to my lights since it’s been in a dark box for a few days

Saguaro Cactus seedlings have been transplanted out of their tiny terrerium and into a larger home. Their growth has dropped precipitously with the winter months. However, since these little guys are still doing so well, I expect them to have a rapid growth period come spring.

Chartreuse and Lime:

A pleasing combination of light-green tones. I love how the the Graptoveria Silver Star, Sedum Pachyphyllum, and Crassula Perforara “Variegata” blend so well together!
