Ranking My Platinums Earned in 2025
Decided to do an extra list because I can. I earned 16 Platinums this year and have ranked them based on how much fun I had getting them, not on how good the game is!
16 - In the Rays of the Light
A small indie game (that I couldn't find a gif for) about the aftermath of a nuclear event. Super short game, had to do a collectable run that didn't take very long.
15 - Elden Ring
My boyfriend helped me smash out the last couple of trophies right before the year ended and since I had already gotten the platinum before for the ps4 version that is why it has ranked so low.
14- The Great Ace Attorney
Hot Herlock, Hot prosecutor, not my favourite cast and my least favourite AA game. It is also definitely the longest AA game, it legit took forever to complete.
13 - Skyrim
My favourite Elder Scrolls but this like Elden Ring is my 2nd time platinuming this game, only on Ps5 this time. Got real grindy towards the end which lowered the fun factor but a great game.
12 - Until Dawn
My PS tried not to count this for the year but I know for a fact I platinumed it this year. Needed a guide for sure and wrote out several pages on how to get certain endings. The no deaths playthrough was rough. Shame the cutscenes can't be skipped. I will not be playing the remastered version as the OG is unbeatable.
11 - Astro's Playroom
A very cute platformer and loved the nods to other games and iconic video game characters. A simple platinum, would love to play the new Astro Bot at some point.
10 - Lies of P
This game is so fucking hard. I'm won't be ashamed to admit that I was only able to platinum the game thanks to them adding a lower difficulty ohmygod. A rough experience made even harder having to do a 2nd playthrough to get the other ending. I cried many times.
9 - Days Gone
A fun game to platinum. Like a few other games on this list this was one I platinumed on the ps4 and wanted to get it on the ps5 version. Again slightly grindy towards the end, and need to go back to try out the new parts added to the PS5 version.
8 - Miles Edgeworth Investigations
My boy Miles Edgeworth I love you. A great little game. Fun to platinum, the best cases easily where to do with his father - the others were mid. It was nice to see what he's been up to whilst Phoenix was doing his own thing.
7 - Far Cry 3
A great game to Plat! Very fun. There were certain areas I had to reload at so I could spawn enemies to get specific trophies but otherwise a great game for the collection!
6- Mass Effect 1
I love ME so much. I knew I was close to the Plat so happily went back to replay it! Most of the leftover trophies I had to get were easy to achieve through any combat situations (like do 25/50 biotic abilities) however, there were a couple that took forever to pop due to only being able to be used on specific enemies.
5 - Mass Effect 2
My shayla. <3 I adore this game. I knew this Platinum would be a little more grindy than the first one but it is my favourite ME. I'm currently reading the comics too. I had to play the entire game again due to not getting the trust of one character in my original playthrough, which meant not everyone survived the final mission. However you don't have to do all quests and managed it in the end.
4 - Expedition 33
Fantastic game, however it took me bloody 3 playthroughs to Platinum as first I encounted a bug with the journals, then trying to rush the game I didn't pick up an item at the beginning of the game that lets you access a different journal and finally the 3rd playthrough I did it. However beating NG++ Simon is insane.
3 - Silent Hill 2
Such an amazing game. A remake of my favourite game in fact. However it doesn't win 1st place as it takes many long playthroughs to get each ending and my first collectable run didn't go to plan, meaning I had to do another collectable run. Also I hate the prison.
2 - Lost Records Bloom and Rage
Fantastic game. Almost won most enjoyable platinum for this year. Easy to get the remaining trophies after finishing. Would happily play again.
1 - Oblivion Remastered
Didn't care for the Oblivion Gate levels (including that one trophy) but a massively fun game to platinum. Relatively easy trophies which mainly just focus on finishing the story and the factions. Just need to go back to 100% the game by finishing the dlc.
