More info about The Witcher movie

- budget: around 20-30mln dollars (not a big sum for Hollywood standards, but it’s a hella big sum of money for Polish standards) - it’s gonna be ‘the first part’ of Geralt’s story so more The Witcher movies will probably be made - the plotline will be mainly focused on Geralt since the script is based on ‘The Witcher’ and ‘Lesser Evil’ short stories written by Andrzej Sapkowski (if you haven’t read the stories: the first one is basically Geralt’s introduction and the second one tells a story about how Geralt became ‘The Butcher of Blaviken’) - the script is almost ready (it’s in ‘beta stage’ according to Bagiński) - Geralt will be played by an English-speaking actor and producers already have a few actors in mind for his role - Bagiński wants the movie to be filmed in Poland and adjacent countries from Eastern Europe
