Cade Gallant is a confusing mess, even to himself. He was a happy child but growing up in and out of various foster homes, he had to learn how to protect himself from the bigger boys, discovering how to use his speed to his advantage and also his resources, the library at school was a great way to get away and as a result his studies skyrocketed. High school and puberty were game changers, he filled out from the ropy, stick like child that he’d been into a man that could defend himself if he had to. Football was his sport and in addition to a wealth of natural talent, his dedication to perfection had him breaking records all the while maintaining his 4.0, and he was a shoo in for various football scholarships across the nation. Instead, he took a full ride to NYU, majoring in Individualized Studies with a focus in business and graduating as the head of rapidly growing Gallant Advertising, a side project from his Freshman year with such a great foundation that it had evolved from a one person idea into a fully viable, and incredibly lucrative, company.
As the president of such a force, he found that he needed to hold the reins with a white knuckle grip, nearly everything passing through him or someone that he trusted completely. Which is why four years after graduating, he sold the multimillion dollar company, burnt out beyond belief. Halfway through his twenties and he didn’t know who he was, the controlling business mogul at odds with the young man who wanted to jump off things and to be in a relationship. A flirt by nature, he saw the appeal to both sexes and had no problem finding partners to share his bed and time with, but they had no problem using him for the perks that came with being young and rich.
As a result he left America behind for the United Kingdom, smile just as easy but a hardness in his eyes that few people could get past anymore. Behind it laid a young man who still wanted nothing more than to be loved, but he was hesitant to let anyone see that part of him anymore. When he stumbled across The Apartments he gladly took advantage of the opportunity to explore; he expected the utmost out of the people beneath him, in the boardroom and the bedroom, but gave everything of himself in return, and it seemed like an ideal place to do exactly that.
Reason For Coming to The Apartments:
Cade essentially came to England as a tourist, with enough money in his account to travel for an indefinite amount of time and no clear goal in mind as to what he was going to do. Call it self discovery, if you will. However he’d never been much of a nomad, needing at least a place to call home, at least so that he had a familiar place to bring someone back to. When he’d found the listing for the Apartments and the opportunities that it could cater to him he eagerly applied.
Cade likes to laugh and flirt, likes to smile and have a good time, he’s a vivacious guy, but sometimes that gets lost behind the business persona that he has meticulously developed. But for that bright side, he needs time to decompress as well, often finding a quiet place to read when he doesn’t want to speak or a gym for the sense of exhaustion that a good work out provides.
