Hidy ho, everyone. Just popping in to say hi and see how everyone is doing. A ton has happened since I was last here.

We had to say goodbye to our Lobo back in May. It was simply time to let him go and cross the rainbow bridge. It still hurts making the call to say goodbye and let him go. But I hope I did him right and gave him the best life a dog could ever hope for. He was with us since 2012 and he was 14 years old. Almost 15! Rest in peace, buddy. I will see you again on the other side.

On to some more positive news; I received my PTCB certification in July and I am now a nationally certified pharmacy technician which will help me in the future with my career. Which leads me into my next bit of good news. After dating @mz-pixie / @wavesofgravity / @mz-pixies-playhouse / @midncghtxcat for over a year now, I took the plunge and made the decision to leave my home for practically my entire life until now of San Diego, California and join her in Orlando, Florida. We had officially been doing the long distance dating thing since August of last year which was also the very first time we met in person ever. We had been together ever since. Even taking turns flying back and forth between San Diego and Orlando to see each other every few months. It just became too much after a while and with the support of my entire family and all my friends, I took the leap and decided to start a new life and join her here in Orlando to pursue a future together at the end of August. Her family has also fully welcomed me into the tribe which definitely helped make the drastic transition much more bearable and not feel so alone away from family. But my family has also welcomed her with warm arms into our family in return. She even got to meet my relatives including my grandmother back in July. We traveled to Hendersonville, NC with her family that first week I arrived, experienced our first hurricanes together (Helene and Milton), our first Thanksgiving together, and are in the middle of enjoying our first holidays together. Although I will be returning to San Diego for Christmas to spend with my family while she stays here to spend it with hers, it's only for a few days and I will be right back. My parents are already planning to fly down for a visit in March-April. Full speed ahead with a brand new beginning!

Yang looked up at him, leaning against Ray. "And? Is there something I should do about that?" She asked, standing up on her tiptoes to kiss him back.

"Hmmm..." he pondered her question as he returned her kiss. "Not sure." he then slipped one arm around her waist pulling her in close while intertwining his fingers with hers. He then very gently and slowly started to sway her body back and forth as he stepped around smoothly, guiding her along with him. He was so gentle and delicate with her. Almost as if he was worried she would break or wouldn't be able to keep up. A dance! A very simple and easy dance in the middle of his dorm room. But a dance nonetheless. The two just swayed back and forth while slowly spinning like they were at some ball. It reminded him of the dances back at Beacon Academy. The dances he was far too shy to partake in back then. Far too shy to even ask Yang to dance back then. But here, it felt right. "You ready? This is the part where you twirl."

" even if things got rocky, and they fell over and over again, ray was a constant support for her and yang. the arrangement the trio had now was a perfect balance to blake.

and she was sure yang felt the same; two people she loved were there for her, maybe not together all the time, but she had people who would never run away on her again. blake would rather die than ever break yang's heart. she was certain ray would probably hunt her down as well.

While I love Yang as much as you do, your friendship is something I absolutely treasure and cannot afford to lose." he replied to her as he scooted next to her as they watched the campfire in front of them. Even when he was at his lowest when he was waging his war against Adam Taurus and the White Fang for what happened at Beacon, Blake was always the voice of reason and she never let him stray too far or too deep in his vendetta against Adam Taurus.

There was a clear cut bond between the three. Maybe it was because of their run ins with the White Fang, the scars they bared from Adam, or maybe they just had that kind of chemistry.

His face flushed red when Yang said that. It was true. Ray was madly in love with her. He had always been even going back to their days at Beacon when things were much simpler and easier. Even during his moments of doubt when he thought Yang had feelings for Blake and not him, even at the peak of his doubt when he saw Yang and Blake confess to each other in the Ever After while trapped in his own Ponderstorm and believed he had lost the war for her heart; he never stopped loving her. It just came naturally to him and he had no idea how to function otherwise.

"Y...yeah. Plus it's a pretty nice view." he said as he intertwined his fingers with hers and sighed before leaning his head against hers. He was grateful for how things turned out.

His only response was to slowly reach for Yang's hand and gently envelop it with his own fingers. "Oh, there was no doubt in my mind that we could never return to how things were." he replied to the blonde. If this were the old Ray before the Fall Of Beacon, he likely would have had a more optimistic outlook. However the Fall had changed him. The Fall Of Beacon, the deaths of his team, and his near-death experience at the hands of Adam while trying to protect Blake and Yang so they could escape had changed him. He was far more cautious, almost skittish at times. He was, for lack of a better phrase, traumatized and there was a clear sadness in his eyes. His shy and bashful innocence forever shattered. But what hurt the most, more than the scar across his collarbone courtesy of Adam that would sometimes throb with varying degrees of pain at the most inconvenient of times, was seeing Yang in this state. He cherished her for her bubbly personality, her charm, and he looked up to her for her confidence and her strength. Not to mention her beauty. As far as he was concerned, she walked on water to him. Whenever he needed that extra boost of confidence or strength, he drew it from her. Now? Now he wasn't so sure. Now he felt he might need to be the one to support her.

But then Yang mentioned 'She'. Who was she referring to? Her teammates like Weiss? Maybe even Blake? As far as he knew, Blake was MIA. Her current whereabouts unknown. He had grown close to Blake before the Fall. They meshed well due to their anti-social, introverted ways so they got each other quite well. Yang was always the one to help bring out their real nature and bring them out of their shells. If he was being honest with himself, he was worried for her and hoped she was safe. Ruby? Thankfully she was with whoever remained from Team JNPR, so at least she was likely safe with friends.

"Yang, I don't know how much this matters coming from me. But....." he paused for a moment as he bit his tongue to really think about what he was going to say. He gulped. "...I'm here." he finished as he gripped her hand a little tighter. "It's going to be a while. But I think we'll bounce back. It's just going be different from now on. But until then, I am here for you."
