i still love these characters dearly and they mean a lot to me!
but truth be told, i've been drifting away from the hunger games for a year or so now. i cannot truly tell you why: whether it's the new prequel, whether it's both prequels, or simply me moving into other spaces.
i work fulltime, and recently have had a fully-shaped grasp of where i want to go career-wise!
i am still creating, but it's drifted elsewhere! i'm fully engaged in some fictional politics series based on uk politics that is so much fun and taking up pretty much ninety percentage of my free time! it's fun, seeing how some character elements and dynamics are pretty much what i keep drifting to (virgilia snow walked so emery montrose could run).
i won't say never say never, but at least as of right now, i am happy and content with what i am creating and fully trying not to drift this into a rant about *that*.
i was asked at some point about sharing more of the art i have had saved and never shared. perhaps i can leave it here to give you some joy on that at least! whether it's a vision or reality has always been a fifty-fifty, so do not per se take it as canon. this is, of course, a spoiler.

also people need to realise that 'the hunger games' is not about a 16-year old starting a revolution, it is about adults in power using children for their political games! both for better or worse!

Kidding, but also, I’ve been mentally gnawing on these guys since I was like 14 but now I’m so paranoid I’ll mess them up that I’ve dug out like six of my old college history and philosophy textbooks to cross reference. What’s the equivalent of fanfic writing unholy water blessed by the undisputed master and CEO of Capitol rebels?
