As someone who was at one time a fan of Bleach many years ago. This video more or less manages to help articulate and explain many of the frustrations I had with the series over the years and is a great summery using recorded Data of the Shonen Jump rankings over a decade to show where, when, how and why everything went so wrong with the series.
My starting planet has been... quite an adventure.
Aries: Fierce wolf
Taurus: Loyal Wolf
Gemini: Spazzy wolf
Cancer: Protective mama wolf.
Leo: Pack leader
Virgo: Wolf rolling around in the grass/wild flowers.
Libra: Napping Wolf
Scorpio: Dark wolf staring at you from the shadows/behind a tree.
Sagittarius: Playful wolf.
Capricorn: Hunting wolf.
Aquarius: Lone wolf.
Pisces: The wolf that ran away to live with the humans.
There’s just something I find really fascinating about the video.
Windows Anniversary Update
Well I got the Anniversary update just now and I can’t tell if it was really an update or reinstalling Windows 10 all over again, maybe both. Anyway my start Menu is now cluttered with an alphabetized list of apps rather than being nice and tidy with only what I use/need on it. Apparently I cannot shove this list of all my programs back behind whatever menu it was in previously, it’s like having the Program Files menu stuck open at all times. I actually started to enjoy my new Start Menu yesterday. Well, fuck me I guess. Apparently people requested this change, who? People that don’t use PCs? and don’t know how to menus?
Here’s an idea Windows Start Menu Options Display All Apps on Start Menu: Yes/No
Boy, that took me months of research to come up with and not literally less than a second after realizing I was stuck with that list. Yes I’m aware this is petty... I’m alright with it.
Adventures with Windows 10
I don’t understand why 95% of the time things changed for “convenience” ultimately results in things being more inconvenient. I just got Windows 10 after spending the last day of the upgrade offer figuring out how to get Windows update to install it because it wanted to refuse. Which I find baffling considering how many people I’ve heard that had it forced on them when it’s only ever tried to remind me and then just wouldn’t download, anyway I sorted it out and now I’m on Windows 10. It’s alright, something about it’s look feels cheaper than Windows 7 to me, I disabled most of it’s background shit like using my PC as a server for other people’s updates and stuff like that (Yeah, part of why it’s free is because it does stuff in the background like that now) The new start menu is a hassle, I have never known a single person online or offline to be genuinely pleased with all the app shit crammed into start menu, I don’t know why they keep trying, it’s annoying. So I spent time cleaning all that up, removing cortana and so on. I actually had to undo removing Cortana because APPARENTLY half of the important settings and stuff I want to look at are almost impossible to find now without her because of the way the ui works in windows 10. God forbid they make it simple by having it be like “Here is your PC, here is the control panel in start, everything you need is right here” No people can’t be trusted with that stuff so we’ll hide it and make it be hard to find. All in All, Windows 10 has been a relatively smooth transition, I’ve figured out how to add important things to Start Menu like direct access to C Drive, Control Panel, Run, CMD, Calculator and Calendar. You know, common sense things, though I’m pleased to see the weather app works now, when I got Windows 7 last year it wouldn’t work (Probably because I was 8 years late) but now I have a convenient temperature and weather thing right there in start, lovely. Right now the only hassle is Windows Update trying to install NVIDIA drivers, which seems stupid since I literally just manually updated to the latest ones last night, so why it wants to update I’ll never know, probably because I refused to install Geforce experience which is a waste of space and only useful for updating your driver, which presents you with the age old issue of not having a clean driver install to avoid things acting up over time, and Nvidia’s definition of that doesn’t include removing unnecessary and old files/folders/settings from previous drivers Windows, why are you doing this and how can I make you stop it. Is there a button next to the update that says “No I don’t need this update, show me what else I can choose to update/not update instead?” No? But I thought we were all about convenience? Anyway, that’s my rant for the day about this, it’ll probably figure it’s self out or I will somehow.
Just finished a thing, pretty happy with it.
I love to listen to a lot of music while working in Photoshop, lately it’s been Thirty Seconds to Mars and Example primarily.
Photo Editing & Retouching
I just set up a gig on fiverr for Photo retouching and editing and all that fun stuff, experience is always good. If you’re curious or need something fixed or enhanced then please feel free to check it out. https://www.fiverr.com/xiraiya
I was experimenting with the idea of recreating sort of realistic hair/fur from scratch as a means to blend things better together. For a first attempt I think it turned out well.
Passions & Practicality
I guess I haven’t written up a personal thing in awhile but that’s what this is here for right? I’ve always had a tough time figuring out a motivation in life. For a long time I was never really sure what I wanted to do or anything like that, I sort of just drifted along and dabbled in this and that. But now I’m sort of faced with the reality that I can’t magically make the things I want happen. Or at least what I want shouldn’t need to rely on somebody, so I have to find something for myself, but I have no idea what, it’s problematic... and sad. So the question I ask myself is what do I want to do in life? or I guess what can I do? Honestly I have enough willpower to believe that I could do almost anything if I put my mind to it, that’s great and all but is almost entirely irrelevant without motivation, right now I don’t really have the motivation to do much of anything, or maybe I do, I kind of do but don’t? I could be a graphic designer? I’m pretty handy with Photoshop, I’ve been using it for like a decade to make dumb bullshit, I wouldn’t called myself “skilled” per say since everything I do is via the most round about method imaginable. I recently opened up Illustrator and today started messing around in that, I’ve never really dabbled in it before but it seems like Graphic Design jobs rely on it more than Photoshop sadly, I would be content finding a part or full time local job in my state that could let me make use of those skills, if money and direction is involved then I can make something happen. I think when it comes down to it I’ve always had a passion for video games and how they work, I’ve always been fascinated with the ideology of game design and how they work and all that stuff, but getting into game design is a weird and tricky thing, I can’t program, I did do all the unity tutorials recently and got through those without problems, but I can’t actually program or do any of that stuff myself. I often find myself really good at adding on to an existing thing, or mimicking and recreating things better than I am about coming up with my own things, if you show me a basic concept for a game, I can totally come up with ways to add to it or twist it into something I like (Or so I think anyway) I feel like I have a lot to offer but never a proper outlet to make that actually be a tangible thing that would help me get a job or find a position somewhere. I do like helping people, I’m pretty confident in my ability to give advice on various things even if I’m no expert, it’s generally about helping people find the right mindset, perspective or train of thought that allows them to figure out the solution themselves, but even that becomes useless if I’m not in the best frame of mind myself. I would love to travel, I think if I got paid to travel around the world for some ridiculous reason or another to talk or write about places and experiences I would have some fun with that, I am a private person and I don’t get very close to people easily, but at the same time (surprisingly to some) I do like meeting new people and having new experiences and going to America last year I think really triggered or awoke a part of me that I had forgotten for many years, I use to travel across the country by myself as a kid to see my grandparents, I don’t remember it ever being a problem or a scary thing, and traveling across the world for me was surprisingly pretty simple and easy. I often just think “Suck it up and do whatever job you can find without needing much schooling” I’m never been that sort of person to just work for the sake of working, and my financial situation fortunately right now isn’t dire enough to warrant that so I guess all of this just seems really whiney. Oh well I’m sure I’ll figure something out eventually, this is just me placing out my thoughts in a way that I can see them.
Will return to streaming soon
It has been some time and that is my fault, my internet has a monthly quota which I used up downloading Witcher 3 and it’s expansions to play. I’ve still had internet and all that but streaming takes out a not insigificant chunk in general day to day use so I was conserving what I could so I could say... watch shows I like and let my family do day to day internet stuff at a reasonable speed without being capped. Anyway my sleep schedule has been iffy and before my logic was to stream during the US day but I’m not so sure that’s such an effective idea, so we’ll work it out and I’ll start doing streaming stuff, I finished Witcher 2 sadly that game is so short I just didn’t get the chance to show much off. But I’m onto Witcher 3 now and I’ll probably be playing it for years to come with how large it is.
Gundam Breaker 3
I see that game and the not very good gameplay but very worthwhile Gundam customization and I think two things. 1. Why can’t I have this on PC. 2. I wish I could have ZOID BREAKER 3 INSTEAD BRING BACK ZOIDS. (Not the newer bad ones, but the first 2 series) LET ME BUILD CUSTOM ONES, MAKE IT A RAD ACTION RPG ABOUT FINDING/FIGHTING ZOIDS AND COLLECTING OLD TECHNOLOGY. AND EXPLORING/ROAMING THE PLANET Anything! It’s the only Mecha series I’ve really enjoyed the concept of beyond “Oh that’s neat”
