I'm getting back on into fitness and a goal of a healthy lifestyle. And I'm really having big urges to work out! Got bunch of revision for Monday's exam and food prep to do though :(( However I bet I can sneak in a happy dance and burn some calories as the day goes on to celebrate the coming back of my motivation ! <3
I know I wanted this to be a motivation only blog but..
I've fallen off the fitness bandwagon.
Pretty badly in fact, and I'm not going to put it down to stress/self esteem, but I've gained all the weight I've worked so hard to get rid of for a whole month, in the matter of a week.
It's making me feel dreadful. It's also making me feel dreadful the fact that I was so fixed on losing weight, that I got myself sick and lingering very close to developing an eating disorder.
I think I've had enough. This time however, I'm going to do all the hard work not to lose weight primarily, but to be healthy. And that's what I'm going to tell myself, because in reality, I want to lose weight to feel happy, look good in my own skin and to have more energy and a general well being.
So I'm going to start with smaller portion sizes and not too restrictive on sugar for now. Last time it made me have huge sugar crashes which I simply gave into. Also I need to drink a lot more water and get BACK INTO WORKING OUT. At least half and hour everyday.
I guess all in all, I'd really like to ask some of you great fitness buddies out there for some motivation, not just for me but for the fitness society as a whole, so we can share any problems and be our own motivation network. It's alright to have set backs, but you have to learn from them and be determined to get back up and be even better than you were.
I wish you all the best in whatever your fitness goals are, we can go through this together, never give up <3
