How's the doggo ronin game going?

Still working on it! there was a small break but that’s over and a lot of stuff has already been done for the demo and game itself, just needs some more implementation of stuff and some polishing. If I have more cool gifs to show, I’ll post them but a lot is still secret

Yeah so sorry for silence, I figured I would start working on an old project I was unsatisfied with again(it contains big swords and tentacle monsters) and see how far I’d come this time. 

Also, 3000 followers wooh! I can’t believe people and pornbots have still been following me after my lackluster content. If anybody still cares, I guess I’ll try and post more from now on!

New section end (& challenge)

Here’s the new trial end, it used to be multiple separate questions, -Do you agree (do you want to challenge the current opinion) -Is this alright (continue or retry section)

I streamlined it into a single section end menu. You can only retry/challenge until time runs out.

Now if you challenge the current opinion, very little has changed in looks.

I did change the way things work under the hood.

There is now a bar showing how convincing you new proposition is. You need to cross a certain threshold to be accepted. How convincing your proposition is depends on the evidence you choose to back it up. How it works is a secret, but “it makes sense” should be guiding enough.

The selected evidence will be interpreted by every person and if most agree, your new proposition will be accepted and the new established scene of crime or murder weapon.

The convincing score you had will however become the next threshold, so changing consensus is increasingly hard.

New Agreeing/support

Agreeing used to be, reverse objection. AKA works exactly like objection, but successful only if EVERYTHING is true, and heals you (and the target).

New system, made it not so viable… very rarely is everything TRUE, there’s always some inconclusive things. Most of the time, trivial stuff that just isn’t explicitly said, but that still counts.

It also slowed the game a lot, since most statements are true and agreeing to everything causing an interruption was annoying. (even after making those quick)

Thus, I changed things and now they don’t even interrupt! Inspired by…. Tagging, they are now seamless, un-interrupting prompts, just letting you know they happened.

No confirming, no backing it up, just say you agree and you and the target heal! Needless to say the others can do it too and are bound by the same rules.

The downside, if the statement you agreed with is ever objected to, you get hurt too!(so don’t agree to random stuff) also entertaining making some (trivial) statements un-agreeable to.

Another change is, Reduced healing effect! The more you agree, the less the healing (until it doesn’t), thus use them wisely! (like health potions!)

Roof Rage, an upcoming platform fighter

Hi there,  I worked on this game for the last 2+ years, it’s called Roof Rage. It’s a platform fighter taking place on rooftops. The game is coming out to Steam Early Access 8 of June.

In Roof Rage, you can fall off-stage but you also have a health bar that can drop to zero. The knockback’s strenght is based on the health left. It’s an easy to pick game with a level of complexity for players of the genre.

It’s inspired by martial arts & kung fu movies.

 Play online 1vs1 (atm) or local up to 8 players.
