chosen stays with the color gang for a bit, is forcibly adopted into their family, and learns through observation what healthy and normal relationships are supposed to look like and through experience what genuine love is supposed to feel like from people who absolutely adore him unconditionally

meanwhile dark loses his powers and gets his shit kicked in by victim and is harshly criticized and humbled by mitsi until he learns basic empathy
