The heavy sense of dizziness that overcame him stopped him nearly as much as the hand on his chest as he tried to stand. He plopped back down onto the chair behind him and blinked as he took in the environment again- the DPD break room. He didn’t remember falling asleep, but it had clearly been long enough for the sky outside to begin to darken. Brows furrowing, he looked up just as a warm, wet wash cloth as pushed against his forehead, both relieving the ache he was just beginning to notice as there and forcing him to lean back in his seat. His diode spun yellow as peeked up at Claire and tried to recall how he’d ended up here. Last he remembered, he’d been on his way out to respond to a crime scene. 

And last he remembered, he hadn’t seen the face in front of him in quite a while.

Verses

Default Verse: Caleb Stern is an RK900 model android that has been active since early May, 2039. Originally programmed to be a pseudo-deviant as an experiment for Cyberlife to understand deviancy, he eventually truly deviated on his own. He chose to continue working with the DPD and currently lives alone with his two cats, Buttons and Scully.

Human Verse: Caleb Stern is a 32 year old ex-detective. After losing his job from the DPD due to reasons he’d rather not discuss, he now acts as a private investigator in the city of Detroit. He currently lives alone in a small apartment with his two cats, a violin, and a few too many sugary snacks. He spends his weekends either on-the-job or babysitting the neighbor’s kids.
