I am really passionate about girls and women in motorsport, so I want to introduce some of the next generation of women in MotoGP because they are surely not talked about enough and deserve every support. Everyone knows and loves Maria Herrera and Ana Carrasco, probably the two lost influencial women for girls and motorcycle racing, but there's also many girls who are currently racing on the road to MotoGP and don't get the recognition they deserve. Starting with: Alejandra Fernández
Competes in: Red Bull Rookies Cup
Nationality: Spanish
Age: 17 (*2009)
Alejandra is currently the only girl on the grid of the Red Bull Rookies Cup, and the only the fourth girl in the Cup's history. The 2026 season is her second one. She finished her first season 24th in the standings with a total of 8 points.
Currently, as of June 3, '26, she's 23rd in the standings after 4 races, with one point that she earned in race #1 at Le Mans.
She started racing at age 4 after watching her older brother Javi and wanting to be like him, so he bought her a minibike and started training with her
Javi is 13 years older than her and, according to her, has always been the one who supported her the most. He always accompanies her to races as her mechanic and coach
Her role models, next to her brother, are Pedro Acosta and Marc Marquez
Before she joined the Rookies Cup, she raced in European Talent Cup and Spanish MiniMoto, where she finished second in the standings.
The reason why I'm starting with her is because I feel like the Red Bull Rookies Cup is probably the most well-known competition on junior level, so I feel like she's probably more known than most other girls.

Update the Lord Mayor of Adelaide has declared she doesn’t want the MotoGP to come to Adelaide as a street circuit (not cause she’s worried about like rider safety) they would just have to cut down trees and shut roads for weeks cause it’s also going to like right after the Supercars
And basically this is just worsting the on going feud between Adelaide council about the state government over who actually controls the road and the trees lol 
I think it's so funny how we bred JOBS into dogs. I have two shih tzus and they were bred to be lap dogs. All they care about is looking cute and cuddling with people. Meanwhile my grandma has a border collie and that dog needs to feel so useful all the time, he acts like he will pass away if he doesn't have a job to do constantly
On one hand this is extremely fucking funny, but on the other hand, it really boggles my mind how many people punish their dogs for just… doing the thing they were bred to do.
Your husky isn’t “hyperactive”, it’s bred to pull sleds for 8 hours straight and you have it in a 400 sq ft yard.
Your English sheepdog isn’t “pushy”, it’s bred to herd sheep, and you have neither to space nor the herd to allow it.
Your terrier isn’t “nippy”, it’s bred to kill rats and your hamster looks a hell of a lot like one.
Your Catahoula isn’t “mean to animals”, it’s bred to hunt any and all animals smaller than it, and you didn’t acclimate it to your cat.

Like Jesus Christ, if you can’t provide an environment where your dog can’t fulfill its literal life purpose, maybe?? Don’t get that dog??? And if you do, maybe know the breed characteristics so you can redirect those traits into more constructive outlets????

Any time someone sees Herschel and says "AWWW I want a Corgi <3" (because he is Very Cute (TM)), I immediately reply:
"Do not get a Corgi unless you have a job for it to do. They were bred to bully livestock across the hills of Wales. This is basically a Border Collie that knows he is cute enough to get away with murder. If you get one and it doesn't have a job, it will apply its livestock-bullying instincts to YOU. Herschel's job specifically is to help manage my crippling ADHD, because I don't have a bull for him to micromanage."
This gets me odd looks at the home depot but it does get the point across.
Ok 🧐 I've found more information on Puchi's family tree so I'm making this a chain, and I don't feel like retagging all of that so those are the tags from the first post
Puchi, Rambi, and Pucho are all bio siblings, and they all sit the same sassy way which i think is very silly
☝️🤓 This leads me to believe that Rambi's family is the one who had all the kittens to start with, and sold or gave Pucho and Puchi to their now owners. I also don't think Rambi's family are family friends cause the only ones who follow them are Maximo's mom, Puchi, and Pucho. And they no longer post about Puchi or Pucho.
