sorry I haven’t been around, been going to lots of events the last couple of weeks. But now back at designing better call saul art. I’m going to try and submit the design to couple of the tee shirt sites, so hopefully that goes well.

made this for the contest couple weeks back. I’m not done with it, there are things to fix but this is where I’m leaving it for now. s4! s4!!

rewatching orphan black to refresh my memories of the show. Will be finishing at least 1 poster for their fanart contest. I’m not aiming to win the grand prize, just one of the 20 that’ll be picked to be signed. Wish me luck!

back at drawing traditional and I love it. Hopefully I can fill out this moleskine with all the characters I love.

it’s been an interesting year of art. 

The first half was very stressful; making paintings but with not enough time or concentration, I wasn’t very happy with the outcome. But I...got an award for one of the painting.....which I still can’t believe. It’s my biggest accomplishment to date!!! Then the months of art block and depression happened. It was pretty bad. From August I tried getting my shit together, and started finding an illustrative style which I’ve always wanted but never had. So here I am. Getting back on my feet. I’m very happy with the results of building my illustrative style, I’ve learned a lot about colors and figures. My plan for 2016 is to get back with painting, while creating simple digital illustrations. Tired, but ready.

I'm fighting couple of friends on fb about photorealism being different from photography. I wrote paragraphs and paragraphs but they refuse to see the difference and is going on about efficiency. I honestly can’t believe they call themselves artists and are being so ignorant about photorealism. Not to mention they’re bring in basically digital vs traditional which wasn’t the main argument. UGH. So ignorant.
