I don't know if Lord Hypnos is messing with me because I forgot my prayers for him before going to sleep or just because he's bored, but it's been three hours since I tried to sleep 💔 and now there are some weird noises at my house and I'm paranoid about if someone of something is there 💔💔 please if someone is there let it be Lord hypnos, or lord hermes or Lord Thanatos, thank you 🙂↕️
Remember my psychologist? The guy who closed the curtains so no sun could enter in the room when he knew I was an Apollo worshipper? Well the other day I talked to him again about my religion. He tried again to convince me to join catholicism, that God and Jesus would forgive my sins if I regretted in time. Well I told him to stop, that I was feeling safe and comfort with worshipping Lord Apollo, Lord Hermes and Lord Dionysus.
He looked at me in a weird form and asked me "how can you worship three gods? Aren't that like cheating all of them?"
Of course he knows nothing of Hellenism so I don't blame him, I explained him how Hellenism works, and he noted everything in his notebook and when we were finishing the session he said "Your gods won't help you going to heaven, not Apollo or that Hermes you said, they are all a failure"
Well after that story here's what I wanted to say, a week later I had a therapy session with him, you know what? He's been Ill since the next day he said that, Lord Apollo took vengeance on him, we won guys
cant have a physical altar for whatever reason? here's other ways to honor your gods:

Spending Christmas with Lord Apollo and Lord Dionysus in a Catholic house
It all started at dinner on Christmas Eve, before dinning I made prayers for Lord Apollo, and had a small talk with him (where I only talked) to tell him I was about to worship him by spending time with family, and that he wouldn't judge me too harshly for giving my uncle hateful looks (whom I don't get along with very well), Then the night passed normally, I dedicated my last sip of wine to Lord Dionysus, and my last bite of croquette to Lord Apollo. After dinning I closed myself in the bathroom and prayed to Lord Apollo to thank him for the quality time with my family and Lord Dionysus for all the laughs, then I danced with my grand parents as worship to Lord Dionysus.
The next day I was scrolling through Tumblr and my uncle (the one I don't get along with) saw some Hellenic post i had in my feed and asked in a mocking way "do you really like those things?" And I was like "so what if I like them?" And he was like "they don't exist you know that?" And the only thing I wanted to tell him was "and the only thing that exists to you is your beer" but I had to shut up, trying to calm myself talking to Lord Hermes (not gonna lie he is with who I have the funniest conversations) my catholic grandma found out and asked me "who are you talking to?" And I was like "oh fu*k" I explained her that I was trying to not kill my uncle (everyone in my family hates him (except his family)) so this things ended in others and I ended closed in a room talking to Lord Apollo to comfort me

Hi chaat! Long time I don't update this! Soo today was a very strange day! Like woah! I started praying Lord Apollo few days ago (since I didn't found a way to do it that I liked till now!) I thanked him for my healthy status and the sunny day he carried that day!
Today I noticed him happier than any day before! I talked to him and we made crafts and drew together and I let him choose the music (i have my way with the dice divination) and he put a song of a broken hearted boy who miss their partner, and now I was asking myself, "who of all the partners he had is missing he now?" And a bit later of thinking that and inspiration came to me to write a poem about him a Hyacinthus, so now I say, He's telling me he misses Hyacinthus? Or was it just a coincidence?
Today I was going on my second period of my trip, I prayed Lord Hermes for safety in this road trip. We were in the middle of the trip when we almost crash to a car who had an accident, but someway we didn't! Lord Hermes helped me with that! When I arrived the first stop of my road trip I was walking and then I saw a cardboard of Lord Hermes! I took it as a sign that he was watching me! Then in the second stop of the trip I visited my mom's cousin, and guess who I saw right in the living room! Yes! It was Lord hermes statue! He still keeps an eye on me! We just started our trip to the last stop of our trip.
In Eleven days I'll need to pray Lord hermes and Lord Poseidon because im going to a cruise! I will keep you posted on how my trip with my deities plus Poseidon goes.
Quite important — and there are many things to keep in mind. There are actually many ways to do it; it’s a very personal act. However, in ancient Greece, one or two things were commonly considered.
Posture, mainly, and attitude. You must feel confident when a deity approaches. With your palms facing the sky, and your hands apart.
Identify the God: They are usually addressed by saying, “Hear me, [Name of the God].” After that, if you wish, you can recite their titles and end with “Or however you wish to be called.”
Then, begin your prayer or request, which can be anything you need. You may also offer something in return, for example: “In exchange, I will bring you rainwater.” But always make sure these offerings don’t harm you — such as giving up certain foods, or similar acts.
For the chthonic (Underworld) deities, prayers are usually said with the palms facing the ground.
I was feeling down this week because is my 19th year without a Valentine, so I've asked Lord Apollon to be my valentine this year, but he said "no" I asked him why and his answer was "self made" and that got me thinking that, I've been all this years looking for a partner that I didn't had time for looking for me, so maybe for once I'll just Self made and take myself as my valentine
Today I decided to starting devoting Lord Dionysus, so the first thing I've done was Listening to a playlist that reminds me of him, while listening the playlist an intense heat rose from my chest to my head provoking me a huge headache, it stopped hurting when I arrived home and I turn off the music for some minutes, but at the moment I turned on the songs again another intense heat came, all of the people were with coat but I was in T-shirt and when I touched my head I could feel a bit of fever and I was like "what???" This never happened to me??
The other day I was talking to my psychologist, I told him that i was feeling better, since I was Going deeper with my religion I was feeling better with myself, the point is that when he asked me which religion I'm practicing I told him Helpol everything alright but he tells me that I should try catholicism, I tell him that i was catholic before and i didn't feel as I feel now and he insists, in the middle of the session he ask me "I'm curious who of all the gods do you pray to?" And I told him that right now I'm praying just Lord Apollon that I have planned start praying to Lord Hermes and Lord Dionysus in a near future, so when he hears that I'm praying to the sun god lord Apollon he walks to the curtains and close them so no sun can enter the room and my reaction was like, ok may this is enough, and he started saying that Christianity is the only true religion and more things, i think I should change psychologist
Lord Apollon is giving me sings and I don't know how to understand them
Since I still don't know a way to comunicate with the gods I have an special way to comunicate with Lord Apollon, I ask him a question and he like sends to my head a part of a song I know with the answer, sometimes there's no need to ask a question he sends me the song to my head because he wants and I start singing it randomly. So today I was in my room doing some homework and studying when a childish spanish song came to my head just because, the song said “Pick, pick, chick, pick your shell, come and eat wheat, come and sunbathe” and I was like what?
I don't find the hatred towards Calypso, calling her emotionally manipulative, normal. I haven't finished reading the yet, but I don't think she's manipulative, I just think she needs someone to love and thought that the gods finally gave her a man to have at her side (? Maybe I'm wrong but she gives me that vibes....
If doing homework is worshipping lord Apollon and learning other languages is worshipping lord Hermes, is doing my English homework worshipping both of them? Considering that English is not my mother tongue
Ummm I hope this isn't limited to specifically helpol deities, because:
- Baba Iaga ALWAYS reminds you to sweep the floor.
- Mephistopheles loves Magic: The Gathering cards.
- Nyx likes it when you compare offerings to her- best result so far is 'honey as golden and sweet as your voice in tea as warm and dark as blessed night.'
- The Sylph like to appear as fluffy animals, the Undines are intensely into whimsigoth aesthetic, Gnomes like flannel, and Salamanders will sometimes prank you by re-lighting candles as you try to blow them out.
