hello, I’d officially like to submit my application to join the Lore Olympus fandom
OMG
Food is a right only if it is your private property. You have no right to food that does not belong to you; you have no right to food that you have not purchased or produced.
Yo shut up
scarcity matters when things are actually scarce, and food is abundant. economics is fake.
The Earth is the common property of all jackasses. If someone is starving they have a right to food. If they are thirsty they have a right to a drink. And if they are homeless they have a right to a roof. If society can provide these things but doesn't then that person is being robbed of whats rightfully theirs.
so y’all are really out here acting like money holds greater value than human lives huh? Wild

TL;DR: Ukraine and Russia are NOT the same.
Ukraine and Russia are not the same country. Ukrainian and Russian people are not “basically the same thing”. “Same difference” cannot be applied to Ukrainian and Russian language. If you think so, you only do because of Russia’s endeavor to erase Ukraine as a separate entity completely. Many influential Russians insist Ukraine & Ukrainian history, culture, and language simply don’t exist because they have always belonged to Russia and are inherently branches of Russian culture, but the facts are:
the lexicon between the two languages differs by 38% (that’s even more than the lexical difference between Spanish and Italian, two languages that no one would ever say are “only dialectically different”)
Ukraine has existed just as long as Russia has. Ukrainian people have the right to fully claim their culture and country as THEIR OWN, because it belongs to them. They didn’t “steal” anything from Russian culture.
The insistence that Ukraine is nothing more than a geographical extension of Russia is incorrect and extremely oppressive. Russia wants control of Ukraine for its own beneficial gain.
So please, try to give a little consideration before you call a Ukrainian “Russian, or close enough”.

literally how hard would it have been for jkr to say something like “listen I was writing it in the 90s, I was inexperienced, I was writing from my own point of view, I didn’t realise how underrepresented a lot of people are, I wasn’t thinking about anything other than the plot, I accept that it’s a little sparse on the diversity front, I can try to be more self aware with my future works” etc etc instead of.. this nonsense
