Ishiguro (Romeo's VA): [46:54] Well, now let's get to our QnA segment! Today's question will be: Which Tokyo Debunker Character do you think would be a good ① boyfriend ② husband ③ father? (chuckles) Thank you very much!
Hmm. This is quite an interesting question. I racked my brain trying to figure out the best way to answer it. Let's tackle the first one.
One, which ghoul would be a good boyfriend? Hmm... perhaps, Shiranami Ren-kun...? (laughs) First of all, he's such a cute junior. You know how he normally is but I think if you date him, he'd be very loyal. Like, he'd be thinking about you the whole time. (laughs) That must be nice~
When the two of you go on a date, he'd be the type to carry your stuffs for you. (laughs) He'd just casually carry your things and if you got surprised, he'd be all, "No need to be so surprised. Isn't it normal for a boyfriend to carry your stuff like this?" (laughs) He might say something like that. I can't get enough of that.
Umm, what else... He'd throw in just the right amount of jealousy, I guess. Like, if you talk to other general students or ghouls, Ren-kun who saw that would later approach you, asking, "Senpai, what did you talk about with that guy?" (laughs) He looks like he might ask you that. And if you respond, "We were just talking about some lessons," he'd say, "Is that so..." (laughs) That's just the right amount of jealousy. If this were Kamurai-san, I think he'd be a little too burdensome... It's gotta be tough dealing with him. But that's also part of his charm, I suppose. (chuckles) Yup, Ren-kun seems like the type to not get overbearing due to jealousy.
And then I'd love to do stay-at-home dates with Ren-kun. He knows a lot about horror movies, right? So I want to watch them with him and would love to hear more about them from him too. It has the different kind of fun feeling when you do it with a boyfriend rather than with a husband一it has that kind of appeal. (chuckles) And that's how I choose Shiranami Ren-kun to be the ghoul who would make a good boyfriend. What do you think?
Two, which ghoul would be a good husband? Personally, I think it'd be Kongoza Jo-kun. First, he exudes an overwhelming sense of security. He's very open-minded as well. I think if someone like him become your husband, it'd be very reassuring so I picked him for the good husband question. I mean, Lyca also said he doesn't get any bad scent from him so I don't think he has a hidden dark side一he probably always acts like that normally. Isn't that nice?
As a boyfriend, the way he's nice to everybody kinda makes you insecure, doesn't it? But if he become your husband, the relationship of being a married couple would reassure you, right?
Jo-kun also looks like the type who would still take you out for dates even after marriage. Wearing stylish clothes... he'd probably love to coordinate date outfits together. And then he'd take you out with his Cadillac while you both wear fashionable clothes. He's also amazing at doing his job. I thought he'd be such a great husband and that's why I chose him.
There are also times when he'd turn into a woman so I think he might have a good grasp on how women feels. Isn't he just the perfect husband?
And three, which ghoul would be a good father? This one is pretty hard一I had to rack my brain when trying to pick a ghoul but... what do you think about Mizuki Rui-kun?
I mean, he's kind of the mother figure in Obscuary, right? Sure, we're talking about being a dad here... But he's been dealing with Ed-san and Lyca-kun so he must be great at taking care of kids too. I can see him being such a doting parent. Everyday will be a lively day when he's with his kid. (laughs) Just imagining it, I can see how it'd be so fun.
Ah, but it's gotta be a rough road with Rui until you can even date him. It'd be very hard for him to truly open his heart for you. But if you do date him, I think he'll slowly open his heart for you so that's what's nice about him.
But well... Rui is a very considerate guy, right? So if the relationship is just between you and him一dating or married一I think he'd be too reserved in so many ways, to the point it'd make you feel kinda guilty too. And that's where the kid come into the picture. If you two have an offspring together, he couldn't help but be more conscious of the kid, right? This is how he could get things more balanced. What do you think? (laughs) It's nice how when you're with Rui-kun, the atmosphere just feels more lively. That's why I think Rui-kun would be a good father. What do you think?
