Should I start using Tumblr again?

Last April I stayed in this Airbnb while visiting Providence, RI - unsure of what I wanted but wanting something more. I was so in love with it. Bright and airy. Spacious. Well decorated. It was out of our budget but it was worth it. That trip convinced me that Providence was where I needed to be. The food culture alone was enough to convince me but the diversity, the art world, the small but city-like city streets. It really spoke to me. I’ll never forget that trip.

Flash forward to now. I’m now in the most mature, fulfilling, loving and passionate relationship I’ve ever been in. It’s like I crafted this man from my hopes and dreams without even realizing I was doing it. Years of dating and learning what I liked and disliked, while keeping to those standards brought me to him. He was my first date in the new city last October and it’s been just an absolute dream ever since.

Last week we signed a lease to rent this place starting September 1. I’m still in disbelief. After we decided to move in together, I was browsing apartments religiously and found that this one became long term due to COVID and the owner moving. I’m going to live here. With the most incredible man I’ve ever met. And I just can’t believe any of it.

I haven’t logged into tumblr in probably over eight months, maybe even a proper year. Feels super weird. I’ve been feeling totally down lately for a myriad of reasons but I think I’m mostly just lonely. No idea why I’m writing this but here we are.
