Even better - how about Captain Picard as the new Beyoncé. His choreography would be fierce.

Well, that seems like good advice to me. Applicable to everyone I think.

Superhero Music #1: “Wonder Woman” by Atilla
So, I’m hoping to make this somewhat of a regular thing. I have a collection of songs either about or referencing superheroes so let’s talk about ‘em!
This band, Atilla, was a project of Billy Joel before he went solo and became the Piano Man. It was a two man band where Joel sang and played keyboards with Jon Small on drums. Joel has referred to the band as Heavy Metal and as Psychadelic. The self-titled album they put out was called “undoubtedly the worst album released in the history of rock & roll“ by Allmusic. I disagree. I have the whole album and I think it’s great. Joel wails away while ham-fistedly nailing the keyboard. The song doesn’t really appear to be all that related to Wonder Woman except in name. One lyrics appears to reference a fight (”Wonder Woman, slap ‘em to the wall“), but other than that he just appears to be referencing a wonderful woman as opposed to Wonder Woman. And I may be color blind, but I’m pretty sure that Wonder Woman does not have “long red hair.” Song Quality: 4/5 Superhero Content: 1/5
Do you have some Superhero Songs I should hear? Let me know!
Hello!
Good day to all and to all a good day! I am a nerd. It’s cool. I’m cool with that. I am late to accepting and really letting my nerd flag fly so I am also an inexperienced nerd. I have always been a big music nerd and have written about music for years but I also read comics (primarily superhero), listen to podcasts and enjoy really ridiculous things. I want to tell you about my ridiculous things and I want you to tell me about your ridiculous things. Let’s be friends!
