Between Portal 2 and Being Human, I am developing a bias for Bristol accents.
haha, when my little brother first played Portal 2, he described the characters to me: "GlaDOS is in it! And there's this other robot with an English accent, he's so funny!" I hadn't seen it yet, so I thought it would be like an RP accent. But when I heard it, I remembered the accents in Being Human and I was like "I've heard this before...This is a Bristol accent!" I'm not sure why, but I was just tremendously pleased that 1: I had a good idea of what it was and 2: it wasn't a standard "Americans think RP sounds classy, let's put one in" sort of deal.
