An official Calorum source/setting book is probably not gonna come out any time soon, so in the meantime I thought I'd make this blog for my ideas for things you could include in a Calorum campaign.
I am not affiliated with Dimension 20 in any way, I just like the funny food land and figured other people do too.
i think it would be very cool and slay if the 3rd Crown of Candy campaign (please brennan or aabria or anyone please make it happen please) was set during the apocalypse
bulb gets turned off, hungry one eats everyone, the great beasts come back, something else idk...
i just want to see everything going to shit with no way to stop it, exu calamity but worse
(also maybe they could use Shadow of the Demon Lord/Weird Wizard when it comes out and follow the 10 session campaign layout, just think it would be neat)
Worlds beyond number has the problem of every d&d podcast where im enjoying the story and then the clunky 5e combat comes in and i want to fall asleep (derogatory) idk i just wish more podcasts would try different systems, like FATE or just anything that isn't 5e lmao
Calorum characters that are just a piece of food with arms and legs are so much fun, I love getting emotionally invested in like, an ice cream cone (not an ice cream, just the cone), and ending up a sobbing mess after Coneelius Sanscream gets killed in the Bread Wedding
everything is Cake in Calorum
ideas for Calorum involving hyper realistic cakes:
a spymaster from Candia or Ceresia who disguises themself as other food groups by wearing elaborate fondant/chocolate prosthetics
a lord who guards themself against assassination by dressing up their Sideserfs in Candian cake disguises
hyper realistic cake golems that infiltrate other kingdoms or houses
