“How do you know you ship them?”
When I see them together, a noise comes out of my mouth and it sounds like a dying horse.

anyway normalize women not wanting children as a happy ending
#she's just like me fr
shipping is so unreal like you could have a gifset of two characters staring at each other across the room with blank faces and you can bet your ass I'll be in the tags like #I'm gonna jump off the windowNNNHGHH
casual fan? no sorry i only know how to invest my whole livelihood into something and spend every waking moment thinking about said thing
If you’ve ever been burned by a show that just felt careless in its approach to continuity and character development, you will appreciate Nancy Drew. It’s so obvious that a great deal of time and effort was spent thinking through the details and making connections that extend across seasons. The characters go on journeys that aren’t always linear, but always feel true. And the show is deeply invested in all the relationships — romantic, friendly, familial, professional. Each one has a unique dynamic.
You can simply feel the love and care poured into every single episode. Watching is such a rewarding experience! It’s healing, lmao.
I never realized how painful it could be to see two people sit with space between them.
LOL I ripped through 600 posts in no time. Good luck with all that, bud. (As I see everyone fleeing from the site instead of rushing to get verified.) Smart.
Anyway. I'm neck deep in Nace/Nancy Drew right now, so for the foreseeable future, that's what I'll be posting about.
With the new twt news of rate limits (no telling how long that'll last before he caves, as usual), I'll probably be posting more here as planned when he took over.
I love tumblr, but it'll take some getting used to.
Soulmates.
This scene is still playing over and over again in my head and my heart. The tears in Nancy's eyes as she tells Ace about their DAYS (I thought it was 24 hours! It was days!!) being happy and in love together just about ruined me. Ace apologizing for being frustrated and not looking at it from her perspective might as well have buried me forever. But then she agreed that they should fight for each other. And he wanted to know the good stuff, the things he has to look forward to. Nancy flirted her way through "what do you want to know?? WINK WINK" and he just needed to know everything. Because that's how they are, they're each other's sounding boards, touchstones. That was taken away from them for the past 2 months, but now it's back. And they playfully lie back so she can tell him everything. And it's heartbreaking and beautiful and everything I needed and wanted. Having this curse keep them apart in the final season is hard, I'd love to just have them as an established couple happy and in love like in the vision. But this is deepening their connection in ways I never imagined. It's soulmate shit. It's beautiful.
This is all I can think about from the new trailer. Bess is so happy in the background. This has to be love curse related, ending it? HOPEFULLY.
OKAY TUMBLR. IT'S TIME TO SETTLE THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL.
Reblog this if you pronounce “.gif” as “GIF.”
NOT JIF,
GIF.
And here is the link for the opposite.
WE SHALL SEE WHICH ONE PREVAILS.
every week ted lasso is consistently like “the villains are not people they are the constructs, cultures, and mindsets we fall victim to, these intangible villains are not who we are but we also do things we must be held accountable for while under the influence of these antagonistic forces of vengeance and vanity and insecurity and retribution and toxic masculinity and silence and mistrust, and if you break through all of that noise to instead choose radical empathy you will become a fundamentally better and more loving, forgiving, person capable of real happiness. except for rupert. he’s the fucking worst.”
and they’re fucking right.
#i've never seen a more apt description of the show #tedlasso
