The wildflowers are going crazy at Crescent Meadow and all through the park. Wildflowers are: yellow-throated gilia (mustang clover, whisker brush), pink stickweed, and blue lips. Devils Postpile National Monument is home to volcanic columnar basalt rock, which naturally chips away in hexagonal pieces due to its molecular structure. I was asked to do this little Sequoia/Marmot thingamajig for a friend who saw that Mammoth had one like this for bears, and he just wanted something a bit more specific to the park. There’s also a painting I did of chocolate chips and mac’n cheese that says “CPMAAC” (“choices people make as a community”) and a bear from a photo shoot that I need to post here later. The Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes in Death Valley are beautiful to see, but climbing them will sure wear you out quick, haha!
