"Then in my childhood in the dawn of a most stormy life was drawn."
Almost done filming for "Natka"! This is my first official short film of the season, and my first-ever vignette. I'm so happy with how all the shots turned out, but here are some of my personal favorites. Be on the lookout for the short to be available on YouTube and Vimeo later on in this month! I'll make sure to post a link.
Mandatory senior year nostalgia.
A short film about the friends we make, and lose, while growing up.
Looks like I'll finally be able to try my hand at vignettes this film season! Thrilled to start shooting "Natka", a vignette-style short film about a young Natasha Romanoff. Be sure to look for the finished product in mid-October!
LAST VLOG MANY SAD MUCH HIPSTER PRESIDENT
Songs used (which I don't happen to own rights to or anything like that, this is purely recreational and not at all professional): "Hypnotic" - Vanic X Zella Day "Who We Are" - Imagine Dragons "Worth It" - Fifth Harmony "Uma Thurman" - Fall Out Boy "How Hard I Try" - Filous "Technicolour Beat" - Oh Wonder "I'll be Good" - Jaymes Young
See you in the fall!
The extremely unofficial music video for "Who We Are" by Imagine Dragons. This is potentially the last artistic video I will post until school starts up again in the fall (SO SAD), but I'll be working all summer on projects and storyboards! Look forward to some more videos from me next school year! I'll miss you guys. Big thanks to my super duper actors: Madeleine Bretey (@natalonia on YouTube and Tumblr) Emily Bannantine Justin Wigdahl Brody Tritle Christian Bannantine Isaiah Riker Nathaniel Wigdahl Also, massive shout-out to my 2nd cinematographer, Madeleine Bretey! You did a great job and I loooove youuuu. Oh, yeah, almost forgot to add that I am in no way affiliated with Imagine Dragons or their songs! This is just for videography practice, and I certainly don't own their music. HAVE A GOOD SUMMER ^_^

HAPPY EARTH DAY!
Just a relaxing little project. The stress in my life has sort of amplified over the past few weeks. It felt good to get outside and make something. Song: "Little Blue" by Josh Garrels (all rights to the original composer)
Met some friends today.

Anna Sandlander of #TFF2015 film ‘Uncertain’ on the ‘wow’ moment when filming: “I don’t know that I had one “wow” moment while making this film, but rather several smaller moments that were magic for being at the right place at the right time. Those moments keep me going with all the inevitably not-so-magical moments of documentary filmmaking. Perhaps my ‘wow’ moment is still ahead of me, at the film’s premiere?” #tribecatogether
