Today had been a day.

To start it all off, your alarm hadn’t gone off. You had woken up earlier in the morning to make breakfast for Rooster before he left for work, but you had been certain you’d double checked the alarm on your phone before going back to sleep. When you’d opened your eyes, however, surprised at how much sunlight was streaming through the window, you’d realized with a frantic yelp that you had overslept.

One of my favorite scenes is when they first introduced Glen Powell’s character Hangman in that bar scene with Coyote, who dared him to hit bullseye with the dart and he did not just once but three times, even when Coyote covered his eyes! and it’s all real by Glen! Even Tom Cruise was amazed cos we know Maverick was watching from the bar. Plus that high five after was a nice touch haha…. solidified how confident and cool Jake Seresin is. Can’t wait for the HQ clip of this full scene to be released. Here’s a funfact he shared about the scene below cut plus Tom’s reaction.

idk why but today i only just realised that the song “hold my hand” in the movie is a different version to the official “hold my hand” you can listen to/stream on music services.

they NEED to release the movie version! it’s gorgeous! i also realised there’s some instrumentals/songs that are in the movie which aren’t in the soundtrack :/ i also think those should be on there haha
