So oh my god, so I’m on Spotify on my tablet, and there is a small option at the bottom of the player that will make you choose to choose where to cast Spotify to play on, I always see my PS4, but I see a Google Cast device listed now and I’m tempted to play some music and play it on this random Google Cast (I guess it’s from someone else’s house) I really wanna do it oh my god and see what happens

Be aware of your rights

So I just had an argument with my manager at one of my jobs, in result I quit. Although because I am to be a law student in the near future I called a few representatives with human rights and with the employment institution in Canada.

The argument was my manager saying “no you are required to work” when I would call in sick telling her that my depression is hindering my ability to do even the basic of tasks, and because of this she recently cut shifts off for me because I was doing it to often for her standards (there was one week where I called in sick for 2 of my 4 shifts to be fair) but most of the times I called in sick it was once a month.

Her cutting my shifts isn’t considered legal or illegal in any way, instead you can make a formal complaint to the human rights legislation and deal with it from there (it is considered a disability in Canada but that doesn’t mean it’s a bad thing). As long as there is a doctors note (doesn’t have to be specific, it can be vague) they do not have the jurisdiction to fire or harass the employee in any way. If this continues it can go into court.

This does not mean for people with depression to take advantage of! If there are many phone records of the employee taking a sick day then the employer could fire the employee for unreliability.

YOU CANNOT FILE A HUMANS RIGHT COMPLAINT IF YOU DO NOT WORK AT THE JOB ANYMORE UNLESS WRONGFULLY FIRED
