As I was digging my car out this morning and cursing under my breath, an elderly neighbor was whistling and shoveling his driveway. I was like really, whistling, happy about this crap?!?? So after he finished he came by and said hello and told me “Aren’t God and Mother Nature amazing? And how blessed are we that we are alive and healthy and are able to shovel and clean off our cars. Today I am blessed to celebrate my 45th birthday. Sometimes we feel as if our lives take many wrong turns but at the end, those wrong turns are the ones that lead us to the right path and happiness. I have an amazing and supportive partner, 4 healthy and beautiful children and friends and family that love and support me no matter what. I have a job, a home, and most importantly God in my life. What more can a person ask for? I pray that God continues to grant me health, love and happiness and that I get to live many years so I can watch my children and grandkids grow up and be happy!
