Hello there, my name is Rosemary. I use she/her pronouns.
This is a dark kink side-blog for curating content that reminds me of typical pulp gothic romances with historical, supernatural and psychological horror elements. This blog will include disturbing themes and imagery, so please block and leave if you are uncomfortable or disapprove. You are responsible for your own experience on Tumblr. If you don't want to engage with these topics, leave this blog.
This is a side-blog, so my features are limited.

hey guysss so unfortunately the rumors are true and im leaving the narrative. Buttt the good news is my absence will create such a gaping hole in your lives that it will become a sort of presence itself, and so in a way it will kind of be like i never left! But i am. Leaving just to be clear.
one the secret sauces of the silt verses is that it's deeply grim and pessimistic about systems and society at large but it's still remarkably kind and optimistic when it comes to people. a person can always change, they have reasons for being the way they are and if their circumstances shift then most people will want to be merciful and good if and when they can, and the actual Difficulty is that society is structured around making violence as easy as possible and mercy as dangerous as possible.
I love you “unlikeable” female characters I love you rude girls I love you mean women I love you girl interpretations of the “Asshole with a Heart of Gold” trope I love you women who get labeled Cold and Unfeeling I love you girls who lash out I love you women who lie I love you female characters who make people mad just by existing

lowkey i want more "problematic" aromantic and/or asexual representation. i want aro/aces who are unhappily married or in romantic relationships that they abandon for entirely selfish and not necessarily sympathetic reasons. i want aro/aces who are bitterly jealous of their friends' romantic partners for making them happy in ways they never could. i want aro/aces who are corrupted by power because they can't find satisfaction in other people. and i want romantic relationships that are ruined by friendships or even the allure of isolation. i want love to lose.
i want a character in a romantic relationship to sincerely feel like they're cheating on their partner with their friend(s) or their work/quest/whatever. and i want them to break up about it with the same degree of drama and grief that would have happened if they'd actually been having an affair.
I can't get over how Sinners is such a rich text on assimilation and whiteness and the dangers of "civility" and music as a way to look both forward and back
And it's also a phenomenal vampire movie where a lot of hot people get covered in blood and there's a B plot about eating out girls
