sometimes i like doing what i call a side quest day, where i basically go to a part of the city and walk around doing whatever i want to do on impulse. i don't start with a plan except sometimes where i want to get breakfast to start. yesterday was chain of lakes side quest day! got breakfast at rustica bakery, walked along the lakes, walked up to hennepin for lunch, then kayaked the lakes for a few hours. finished up the day grabbing ben and jerrys ice cream (they'll donate to outfront minnesota if you buy the rainbow sprinkles!) and got a new cocktail cookbook at barnes and noble
