Something something grace giving a super quick and embarrassed crash course on human reproduction as part of his ‘human biology’ classes on Erid, mentioning offhandedly that mating is often very energy intensive, active and humans can vocalise quite a bit and sweat quite a lot during it. Most Eridians don’t think much of this as Grace, and by extensions all humans, are already quite leaky and energy inefficient anyway.

That is until the temperature settings in Grace’s biodome start to fail a little and Rocky and Adrian come face (or carapice) to face with a scantily clad, sweaty grace who’s panting and whining lots all of a sudden.

having very insane gracerocky problematic agegap thoughts. what if before he dies Grace wants to touch Rocky what if he wants to die in Erid properly and dont some humans cremate their remains? what if they plan it and when grace is old old old, and falls asleep for the last time, he is pumped full of sedation and painkillers, and then Rocky takes him outside, into Erid, cradling him without the everpresent layer of xenonite in between for the second and last time ever.

i like the idea of Grace gets so used to eridian culture he's basically an eridian. Even if he went back to earth he wouldn't be able to fit into it.
