CandyGore is an upcoming Horror RPG game which sticks out for its pastel colour palette a sickeningly cute aesthetic. It revolves around Chip, a teenager who just started working for Miss Cotton’s Cake Shop, a successful cake shop led by Miss Cady Cotton, a local TV star. However, after several incidents on her cooking show, Miss Cotton decided to retire and open a shop. But as Chip starts digging deeper into the bussiness, odd things start to come up...

miss cady cotton is the owner of the bakery in candygore she is a seemingly sweet yet mature woman in her fourties with a love for baking. she has a thin yet slightly curvy figure and wears a 50s dress with an apron tied around her waist. miss cotton has shoulder length, blonde hair which she either wears in an updo or open.

chip is the main character of candygore and embodies the player in the game. chip is a young teenager who’s personality depends on the player’s decisions. (naïve and cheerful, nervous and sarcastic or suspicious and cold). they have taken a job at a local bakery over the summer holidays to earn some money while their parents and little sister carolyn are spending their vacation in italia. chip doesn’t have a specified gender, it is up to the player what they are.

whoo, i finally finished a logo design that i was satisfied with! i really like the vibe i went with, gives it some kind of vintage-ish aesthetic

game development so far: 1%

so after constant shifting in my bed last night (and having my cat attack my feet because of that) I finally got around to work on the game‘s plot once more, as i have been struggling with it for a few days now.

part of me wants to put some pixel levels in as well, in which the player might also have a little bit of experience within the story, but on the other hand, i‘ve only been working on the characters and plot so far. i will update later today after i get my homework done
