It’s not “playing dress up”, it’s a way of life.

Summer Sewing List #2: McQueen-inspired tartan and tulle skirt(s)
This was a project fraught by too much error and not enough trial from the very beginning; I’ve been trying to complete what was originally going to be something quite different since December. That said, I’m mostly pleased with how it turned out, and pleased with myself for making the two layers separate so that I now also have a fancy tutu skirt. (I might make a detachable lining, too, so that it’s a tiny bit more versatile, too). Now I just need some invites to fancy costume balls.
Dress for the story that you’d like to have people know about you before you even open your mouth.
