i was today years old when i accidentally found out that the names of Princes Kacho and Fugetsu come from Japanese idiom 花鳥風月 (kachoufuugetsu) that means something like appreciation of beauty in nature

every time i want to paint something realistic, at the stage of sketching i have no idea what i’m doing. i forget every possible rule of anatomy and perspective. but once i start painting over that piece of shit sketch my third eye is opening in real time
