Cette citation du général Pélissier commandant la division d’Oran faite aux légionnaires, en 1854, résume à elle seule tout ce que Sidi-bel-Abbès doit à la Légion étrangère. Ce sont les légionnaires qui ont largement participé à sa construction. Ce sont encore les légionnaires qui ont insufflé aux premiers arrivants l’esprit d’entreprise en s’impliquant eux-mêmes dans la mise en valeur de vastes étendues fertiles, donnant ainsi aux colons les atouts nécessaires au développement économique de la région. La population, qui n’avait que 431 habitants lors de la création de la ville, dépassait les 100 000 âmes en 1961. Devenue la troisième ville d’Oranie, Sidi-bel-Abbès était une cité débordante d’activités, à l’urbanisme moderne où rien ne manquait. Durant cent vingt années, la ville a vécu à l’heure légionnaire en devenant la plaque tournante de toute la Légion et en prenant l’appellation de « Maison Mère ». La symbiose entre Sidi-bel-Abbès et la Légion était si forte que la grenade à sept flammes de la Légion, avait été ajoutée aux armes de la ville.

The Satanic Trinity. In the Dragon, the Beast, and the False Prophet, we have the Satanic Trinity, Satan’s imitation of the Divine Trinity. In the unseen and invisible Dragon we have the father (the Anti-God). In the Beast we have the Son of Perdition (the Anti-Christ), begotten of the Dragon, who appears on the earth, dies, and is resurrected, and to whom is given a throne by his Father the Dragon. In the False Prophet we have the Anti-Spirit who proceeds from the Dragon Father and Dragon Son, and whose speech is like the Dragon’s. The Dragon then will be the Anti-God, the Beast the Anti-Christ, and the False Prophet the Anti-Spirit, and the fact that all three are cast alive into the Lake of Fire (Rev 20: 10) is proof that they together form a “Triumvirate” which we may well call - The Satanic Trinity.
