Introduction:

Jack of All Trades (linked here) is a long running Undertale fic I started in 2015 and just uh! Never stopped! Written in second person, we follow protag Anaya as she falls for the one the only Sans Undertale, and he gets utterly whipped. Hell yeah. There’s plot, there’s hot-but-not-like-in-a-weird-way Toriel, there’s jokes, there’s (((((sex)))))), there’s growth, there's spooky void nonsense, y’know just a bunch of good shit.

JoAT takes place three years after the barrier fell. Where we begin, Naya is a lonely 20-something working three part time jobs. Stuff starts to turn a corner when she gets lost in a haunted house, only to run into professional spooker Sans. You can view a comic of their first meeting here!

The story features everyone from Undertale’s main cast along with a few OC’s. The biggest players:

Does mettaton ever appear in your fic?

I'm on like chapter 42 and I haven't even seen a mention of him

ya he appears after ch50, he's not physically in the place everyone else is where you're at in the story

but he is a pretty minor character compared to the others, just to set the expectation

if you've got naya and sans as the heart with everyone orbiting around them, that's the order of importance (omitting spoiler characters and OCs). undyne and mtt are on the outskirts cuz they don't have major character growth to get through. their lives are going well lol.

I'm also remembering that in the early days of ut, mtt (and undyne to a lesser extent) were SO popular in fic writing circles that i didn't feel the need to spotlight them. on the other hand, toriel was LESS popular. i was like nuh uh. she needed her roses by god.

what's hard about this next chapter which is the second to last is raising a baby saps every crumb of my energy IGNORE THAT, it's that I've never truly finished a story before, and turns out narrative conclusions for a pretty big cast of characters, while maintaining a good pace, is hard.
