Ults only one bed is a short fic I've had hanging around for quite a while. I also refer to it as Ults Air Force One, but I would say the main thrust of the fic is that Tony doesn't realise a) this is their third date and b) he's attracted to men. so basically as many of my fave tropes as possible.
It is also the fic I was going to gift to myself – and then you dear @xwinterdreamsx said at one point you wanted it too, haha. Currently at 3K but once the clothes come off I'm thinking 10K? Who knows.
As for the HOLY SHIT fic, it's a holy shit what happened to tony sex pollen full on crack fic that breaks the 4th wall. It's also a present for somebody else so shhh!
Here is an extract of Ults only one bed. Usual warnings for Ults typical homophobia and derogatory language, sexism. Honestly, we have to get them together so they can't be bad offensive partners to anyone else. also very light dubcon – if you want enthusiastic yeses throughout this is not the right fic for you. As much as Tony has enjoyed the evening – a quiet dinner with Steve was something he needed more than rattling around the empty penthouse or finding a young pretty thing at Soho House to please in bed – it was time to suit up in the belly of the plane and get back to New York. But before Tony could thank Steve for a lovely evening, Steve closed and locked the door, and pulled Tony close to him.
“Steve! What are you doing?”
A chuckle in his ear, deep rumbling against his chest. God, Steve really is huge.
“What do you think I’m doing? This is our third date." Steve places one of his huge hands on the small of Tony’s back and walks him backwards towards the presidential bed. Their hips are touching, Steve is pressed right up against him. He smells like leather, metal, and the aftershave Tony gave him one Christmas. Tony’s never been this close to a man, not even as a third in a threesome. It’s the unspoken rule.
Steve pushes Tony backwards so he lands on the bed. He bounces slightly – great design –and his brain comes back online for a moment.
“Wait. Third date? You’re fucking with me, aren’t you Steve?”
Rolling his eyes affectionately, Steve presses himself on top of Tony – taking a moment to belt them both into the bed.
“Air turbulence,” he says as though that explains anything about what’s occurring here. “And I’m not fucking with you - but I do want to fuck you,” he whispers into Tony’s ear.
“You’re straight,” Tony gasps.
“No, I’m not.” Steve is sucking on Tony’s earlobe now and Tony needs to find a way to end this, even as a delicious tingle lances through his body. All touches can feel good, it doesn’t matter where they come from, right?
But Steve’s probably expecting touching back. And… to stick it in him. No. It’s not happening.
Steve blows air gently behind Tony’s ear and Tony wonders how he got here, pinned to a bed on Air Force One by the President of the Free World – and his friend of around a decade – when they’re both straight.
A belt around them because of "air turbulence."
“I’m straight, Steve.” Tony gently pushes at Steve's shoulder - which doesn't move at all. He's not worried, he doesn't think Steve will hurt him. Tony wants to make sure they're on the right page - Steve keeps acting like he's a whole chapter ahead, and that's an uncomfortable thought for this futurist.
Another huff of air this time on his neck. And a hand on the other side stroking his earlobe. Jesus, where did Steve learn these moves? It's tender - and all encompassing with the weight of his body pressing down. It's impossible to think of anything else.
“Of course Tony. That's what you say. But have you considered that you’ve never seen men as an option because you’ve always been elbow-deep in pussy?”
Tony can’t help it. He laughs. It's outrageous. Steve is so incorrigible in his persuasion – what a ridiculous thing to say.
Steve laughs with him but shifts so he's looking Tony in the eyes, drinking him in. It's intense - Tony feels out of his depth. And he realizes he's seen this expression before.
Earlier: The soft lighting in the cabin at dinner. The way the staff had given them space – and not a single presidential staffer haranguing Steve for a signature on their paperwork.
Steve looking into his eyes. Actually maintaining eye contact, with a soft smile on his face.
Pouring Tony a fine merlot – and the quiet firmness in how he made sure Tony alternated each glass with a heavy crystal glass of water.
And... third date? It’s hard to concentrate with Steve’s bulk covering him, and the way he ducked his head to suck on Tony’s earlobe again - sending a not unpleasant shiver through Tony. A mouth is a mouth, Tony thinks archly. Perfectly normal for the sensation to travel down into his groin.
"Third date? When on earth were the other two?" Steve leans back, eyes dancing with laughter. Is he fucking with Tony?
"You were my date at the Smithsonian thing."
"Oh." Tony blinks, surprised. "When you invited me, I assumed another inventor, scientist, eccentric genius – someone else less controversial – had suddenly backed out." And Steve knew that Tony would drop everything for him, of course.
Steve scowls a little, "Tony, there's no other inventor-scientist-eccentric genius for me."
Unexpected warmth blooms in Tony's chest. It's a hell of a kick to be on the other side of a seduction – even if it's obviously not going to work.
