新たなる春色

2025年、碑文谷八幡神社。

かつては大きな染井吉野が並んでいた参道だった。老木のためか伐採されてしまい、新たに桜が植えられた。付けられている札を見ると「越の彼岸」「陽光桜」となっている。

植えられた頃は若い木であったので、それほど木が小さく花は少なかったけど、ようやくたくさんの花を咲かせるようになった。

好みで言うとこの2品種の花の色はちょっと色が濃すぎる気がするけど、こうみると華やぐ参道になってきていいですね。
